People were unhappy first half, understandably, but some were way over the top it was obviously a tactical and formation error.

Second half was ridiculous, we were clearly much improved and much the better the side, but stupid over the top comments like saying we were a very poor team, and have no quality was base stupidity by some, and the continuing calls for Coutts are starting to get right on my tits.
 



Sheffield were a pretty good team, set up in a good way by a manager getting the best out of his squad

Ignoring the Sheffield comment for a bit...

Imagine that, Wilder is doing the job he's employed to do

I used to like the comments about Wilder getting the best out of players, like it was some sort of fluke.

However, after 2 1/2 seasons he and the players have proven that they are at the level they deserve to be. Yes they were bargain basement deals, but value is subjective.

The players are good enough for at least top 10, proven last season. Possibly higher. So the players deserve more credit for reaching their potential.

However, its grinding my gears now... Wilder's job, like any manager with a team beneath him is to get the best out of his people. Its taking nothing away from the job that he's doing, but its quite dismissive.

No not really but people on here like to moan about other members of this forum without having the bollocks to say it to them directly.

People moan in the shoutbox as much they would moan at the match. As for yesterday people moaned about the poor performance in the first half mostly and thats about it.

You wouldn’t want them in your team would you? Heads go down at the first sign of adversity. Wholly unable to regroup as a positive unit after the slightest setback. Knee-jerk reactions when calm reflection is required. No tenacity. Character very questionable.

I'd drop them all and play the kids.
 
What I enjoy most about Roy's Views From are the comments about Billy. Whilst our lot are happy to accept Wilder playing Washington/Goldy ahead of him, complain about the sitters he misses and comment on his legs being gone, the oppo fans from every club bar none are fucking terrified of him and consequently detest him.

No they didn't, they never bloody stopped. Now perhaps it's because I'm usually either at the game, or watching on TV, which can often be just a bit behind the live feed. So I'm not often in the shout box and witness to the continued pessimism and sniping, but I found it terribly depressing and decided to go elsewhere.

The shoutbox is used to vent and better to use that than create half a dozen threads about the match.

I said it directly yesterday as it was pathetic. Not bothered who I upset ,theres less slagging from grunters than what some of those were giving ,no actual clue about football just knee jerk ridiculousness because we aren't winning. If it was at the game I wouldn't think twice about saying it to them directly and have done but I doubt some of them ever go to see us play.

Agree with this. Wilder has done a great job but the players are the ones that play. I think Wednesday fans reckon we'd finish bottom without him.

If Wilder goes, get Warne and we'll be 80/90% as good. Keep Wilder but sell JOC/Fleck et al and we'd still be screwed

What would be more pathetic would be people moaning about people moaning nearly 24 hours after the match in which we won.

Yesterday was particularly bad. To the point it seemed like it was Wednesday fans doing it.

Its in the right column of this website, I dont think you need to have a twitter account to view it. I think Foxy and co are usually pretty fast with the status updates during a match. Certainly faster than the shitty BBC website I would imagine.

They just make a blanket announcment like "I can't be reading this shit." and then comeback about 5 minutes later surprised to see its the same. :confused:

People slag off the team at matches, they also slag off the ref or the linesman or opposition. Its nothing new but it just suprises you that people do it in the shoutbox.

But people are at the match, and venting their frustration is then a side product.

To actually choose to go on to an Internet forum for no other reason than to vent your spleen at your own club is bizarre. And the swings in emotion are so weak minded it’s untrue.

I stayed out partly cos of that and partly because my NowTv feed seemed to be a minute behind some people on there, so had the risk of seeing spoilers as well as moaners :eek:
