Funny thing is that I actually thought their side contained lots of pace the kind of players thst people on here are crying out for us to sign

But they just looked bereft of confidence and were taking the easy option all the time ,quite often just falling down which winds me up as if I can see it why cant the ref
They're was two incidents that stick in my mind ,one were their keeper just threw himself to the ground in a crowded area and another were their defender did the same and Danny Higginbotham said it was excellent defending
I knew then we would win as they just didn't have the Stomach for a fight

The quality bullshit is a recurring theme which gets relight under my skin.
You can’t be in the top 6 half way through the season without quality.
Even some on here sell our players short and suggest other teams have quality and somehow wilder trumps
it with his magic wand.

Limited [transfer fee] and little [wages] - that's what he really means. Can't get his head around the fact that you don't have to bankrupt yourself to get a good footballer but his club have pissed millions up the wall.

We've got quality all over the pitch. Even our CBs can hit 60 yard pinpoint passes and trap balls that are coming down with snow on them.

Is it enough to get us up, maybe, maybe not, but to say that is bitterness as you say.

Reading's complete inability to put together any half effective team is embarrassing. They have some quality players yet usually keep them on the bench. They're a team with no character whatsoever. Hope they go down, it's about time.

Its worrying that few thought they played well 1st half considering they failed to get a shot on target for entire match. I thought they were dreadful but we got dragged down to their level. Worrying for them that illori cost Chelsea 7m. Aluko 7.5m & defence was more expensive than our 1st 11

I must admit that the only players i knew were McNulty and Baldock, but they didn't impress me with pace. Washington did. He was all over them, but that is often a product of the balls played to stretch them.

They had nothing in midfield. They didn't get in behind us though they tried against Baldock and even when he defended poorly, he recovered with his pace or with basham.

Having an extremely well organised side which covers itself is better than just pace alone.

Thank fuck you posted that music video Roy. The first time I heard that song I was at uni and it was being played by a student in the next house, but I could only hear the guitar riffs coming through the walls and I never found out what it was. Mystery solved!
