Can anyone remember us having two goals disallowed in the same game? I’m sure it’s happened before, but never when I’ve been I don’t think.

Incidentally, I was there last night and I celebrated five goals last night. 2 chalked off, 2 actual goals and Sharp’s glancing header which was right in front of me and I still thought went in, much to the delight of the Reading fans when me and about 100 others realised it had in fact gone wide.

Port Vale in the 100 points season? Won 4-0 and had four disallowed? Or summat.

Isnt it funny how when these tight margins are spotted by the referee and assistants but not for the likes of Liverpool and man utd

I'm 45 now and it's been happening all my life so it cant be a anonomaly

Look at yesterday's Liverpool game 2 of their goals should have been disallowed including their crucial first but no one even mentions it

Except me

Didn’t we beat someone (Port Vale?) 4-0 in league one and also have 4 disallowed goals on top? Remember Matt Done having a couple chalked off
Yeah but that was so long ago that no one can remember it ;)

Nowt tight about the first one, he was miles offside.

Second one a tight call but credit to the lino, he guessed right.

Also Sharp's goal was a tight call, and I'm not sure if they got it right or not but that doesn't matter now.

If Goldie had got a touch on the cross then Sharp would definitely have been offside.

Small margins.

Sharp’s goal looked close to me and I haven’t seen it back yet, but at the actual game I was certain Goldie did touch it. It came across quick but it looked like he should have buried it himself to me.

Eddie Howe certainly mentioned it on Match of the Day...

I’m delighted to say the officials missed that Billy was marginally but definitely offside for our first goal.

Dele Alli for his header yesterday was as offside as McGoldrick was for his goal.

That one got through.

Any match wher Mike { look at me } Dean isthe Ref is , always worth a couple to the opposiition he would give us a minus score if he could .

I think Eddie Howe mentioned it.
Let’s see if VAR makes a difference from next season

Nar he was level with the ball when Bash crossed it. Hard to tell here but you can just abput see from the pitch lines.

They showed the replay from exactly along the line on Sky and it was just on. Fine margins though.

But if Goldie had got a touch he was in front and would have been offside.

Just as well he missed it by millimetres

Last season vs Brentford. We won 2-1, first game of the season.

Yes I think the defender nearest the camera may have played him on as well. However I strongly suspect Goldie feathered it. Can Reading call for Ultra Udge? :)
