Today showed we are similar level to Leeds but lost due to a individual blunder.
We are one of the best teams in this league but on a similar level to 8 other teams.
Don’t count on us finishing top 2 and there’s a chance we might miss out on the playoffs but we could also sneak in.

Didn’t think McGoldrick was that bad, finishing obviously but that’s been discussed. Billy put himself about, wasn’t great but got stuck in. Duffy did nothing, total passenger. I think if teams close him down quickly he’s lost that quick turn and 5 yard sprint.

The mistake today came from us being negative with our play. Too many times players would turn around and go backwards.

Frustrating as fuck to watch on TV. I had to walk away after that goal. It was coming.

For a team praised for their attacking, we must have played two backwards passes for every one forward today. Shocking.

That’s because Leeds had a plan to press and not allow Duffy,Morwood and Fleck time on the ball....it worked

People who talk about promotion are just kidding themselves. Just waiting for the novelty to wear off. What's the point of rushing around with neat triangles and when you get to the opposition's penalty area your creativity goes to rat shit? We don't get 'bonus goals' for that you know.

Like Egan you mean? He was doing my head in with that, looking to go backwards every time, or do that funny lopsided run of his about 5 yards, then turn round and lay it off sideways. I said to missus, "just watch this guy when he gets the ball, just watch him for a few minutes and see what he does" and he did it every single time. I said to her, "he's getting paid for that!". For turning up and stroking a ball 5 yards in a sideways or backwards direction. Must be the easiest way to earn money that. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a decent header and stopper of the ball, but he looks terrified of going forward and doing anything with it when he's got it.

Given CW's lack of interest in non GB players am not sure how he can improve it. The owners are in a fight so money is not that forthcoming, he doesn't do non Brits, we sold our best up and coming youngster so what next? Plateau Championship? Kinda where we are isn't it?

In the old days at least you could look forward to a Blades cup upset or after the 20 odd year not getting past round 4 in the FAC a cup run. Won't even get that now. Can't win on the box as a highlighted game. All a bit frustrating really.

Today was frustrating, indeed, but then Tuesday at Brentford will live on in my memory as one of my favourite away midweekers. At one point in the first half when we were 2-1 up, I found myself gasping at how good some of the football was we were playing.

Not that CW isn't above criticism; his substitutions weren't brilliant today.
