He said trying a three with them and Fleck didn’t work because Coutts if played in that system needs to be in Norwood’s deeper central role. Clearly he thinks Lundstram is more suitable for that role ahead with Fleck – which I can sort of understand.

If Woodburn still isn’t getting in the squad after reportedly playing quite well at the weekend for Liverpool u23’s then why are we still wasting each other’s time. Send him back for the love of Christ.

Understand we’ve made changes but I’m surprised Lundstram has made a comeback from seemingly nowhere. Then again with the conditions maybe it’s not the right game for Coutts to make his first start.

Washington needs to have a good game tonight because I’m yet to see anything that impressive from him. It’s a good chance for him to impress though and hopefully he does.
