Apologising for that 5 times a game is one of the reasons that Sky TV, is fucking shit.

A solitary Brentford fan got a good one in at the end of their game as well.
 
I watched from the front room today. The amount of time the camera spent looking longingly at Paul Warne drinking a cup of tea suggests the director fancies him- and possibly films him from a bush in his garden of an evening. Warne wants to hire private security; he seems a nice bloke, I dont want him Dando’d. And if it wasnt him, it was loooong, drawn out shots of fans in the crowd. A few times they had to hurriedly skip back to the pitch as someone (Rotherham usually) were about to attack the penalty area. So frustrating. The angle they showed the corner from when Vaulks cleared off the line was just weird as well.

The midweek red button coverage is better as its just a continuous shot of the pitch. If they just added the odd replay to that, instead of the pointless shots if managers stroking their chin and supporters, it would be far better.

And yes; the commentator couldnt stop apologising for the “bad language” (stop putting 25 microphones round the fucking pitch then). Didnt mention an apology about slurring both sets of supporters in the last Blades game they televised though.
 
England v Australia.... rugby today. One of the players got a “fuckin something or other” in which was picked up by the refs mic

Judging by how long Leeds fans have been using that chant and how they're still constantly on Sky, I doubt that will ever happen.

In doing this I'm sure they missed the Clarke substitution entirely. Even calling him Mcgoldrick at one point.

It’s one of the reasons I asked the questions in the opening post.

I’m sure no-one who sang “sky TV is fucking shit’ will watch the Brentford game on the red button 8-)
 
Apologised fir the industrial language because they were in South Yorkshire.
Fucking Snobs ( excuse the industrial language), like no one in tge rest of England or where Sky is based has ever heard it before!! Another example of wanting to take this game away from its roots.
Also the company they employ to do the coverage is crap at its camera work and switching from o e camera to another. As much as one camera MOTD from the 70s seems nostalgia it was better than this " on the ground to see the corner taker hit it then switch quickly to the ball in the box".
Really shit camera work for the paying punters.

Got to admit... I’m with Sky on this one.

The language was atrocious and disgusting at times in the first half. I heard:

“You f*ckin w*nkers! You c*nts! “Go f*ck yourselves you motherf*cking tw*ts”.

Eventually I’d had enough. I said, “Grandma, go in the other room and get on with your knitting if you can’t keep quiet!”
 
I will now defend Sky slighty judging by the brilliant Suede documentary I’ve just watched on Sky Arts. They didnt apologise for the swearing and not one mention of Frank Lampard.

Well they played crowd noise over an impeccably observed minutes silence, they move the KO of matches with utter disdain for supporters and they’ve pushed the separation of the top 20 from the rest of the 92. All the while lining the pockets of Murdoch and his Newscorp cronies.

Yeah Sky are brilliant, love our games being moved to Friday nights and Saturday lunchtimes. Oh and having piped crowd noise over the minutes silence against the pigs. Not to mention absolutely ruining the state of the game and creating an unprecedented gulf between the top and the bottom.

Great bunch.

So there was no gulf pre Sky between the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal etc and the old division four teams in the 80s?
