That's because they didn't know what a lazy cart horse he was!? I remember Radio Sheffield interviewing him after the game and he was saying that he banged in goals like that all the time in training

I remember one game towards the end of the season, maybe around 2000-01, when we beat Burnley 3-0 at the Lane- I think Jags and D'Jaffo both scored wonder goals in that match. Anyone else remember it? I would've only been fairly young mind so they might have seemed a lot better through the haze of youth then they actually were.

23/3/02 - Jags 2 and D'Jaffo scored. Gazza played for Burnley as his life started its slide downhill.

That was 30/3/02. D'Jaffo put us one up, Crewe went into a 2-1 lead and Doane got the equaliser. It was his only goal for United and he had to retire after breaking his leg at Wimbledon on 7/4/03.
