Same again on Satdi please with a little more luck in front of goal and I fancy us to take 3 points.

More exciting football like this week in week out and we can sustain a top 6 spot.

I don’t think anyone’s being ‘doom and gloom’ in any sense.

There’s a lot of understandable disappointment from today and Saturday - we should be clear at the top. People might say it’s being spoilt but I don’t care, I want us to be the best in this division and I know we can be, no team could’ve coped with us in the first half of the second half today or the first half of the Derby game. We’ve come away with 1 point from the games.

The football has been brilliant but we MUST work on our end product and we MUST start putting teams to bed if we want to go places.

It was a terrific performance, but we just couldn't finish. Then when we do it is like a weight is lifted and concentration/judgement/ whatever just seems to drop off. A familiar tale unfortunately.

As you say though, a good response to the Derby defeat, but very frustrating too.

2. We always concede
3. This means we need to create 14 chances to have any chance of winning
4. The only way we create is to attack
5. When we score we drop back 10 yards and invite pressure

If you can live with that you will enjoy the season.

Great performance really, and everyone has the occasional bad moment, and unfortunately when you're the GK it usually means you'll be conceding.

It was a good response to the second half at FLDC, Leon made some good chances for himself, got about, got the monkey off his back but we really need to start putting more chances away.

At the moment we must score from 1 in 15 chances or something, if we get that down to 1 in 5 were winning 3-0 every week.

I really believe that we're one of the best teams in this division generally, tonight shows that, we played them off the pitch, we're just let down by inconsistent quality in front of goal. McG could have had a couple tonight, Stevens could have, Leon could have had another couple.

It was a sickener. A real sucker punch. We did play really well but it almost feels like a defeat. But agree main point is we are playing really well. Repeat that performance in the next few games and we'll be fine. Stoke did nothing until the final 10 mins. Our possession play and movement and passing mean we run rings around the opposition at times. Good to see Leon get on the scoresheet.

It's funny how people see it differently. To me, the last two games have shown that, like last year, we're probably an upper mid-table side. Yes, when it all clicks we play teams off the park, but we don't put teams to the sword and we've got a glass jaw.

We're about as good as Stoke are. They'll finish higher than they are now and we'll finish lower.

The football is great to watch but we don't have that ruthlessness we need at either end of the pitch.

We will gain points when we don't deserve them and lose them when we should have had them. That's just football!

Our forwards are only going to get more tired as each game goes by, they're not even fit 30 odd year olds. We'd be a good side if we had some younger talent upfront that you could rely on to kill teams off when Sharp, McGoldrick, Clarke and Duffy have shat their potful

I was the same, would have accepted 1 point but we definitely deserved 3 and played surprisimgly well.

Noticed that in the 1st half although we were decent we weren’t playing at full tempo as though we were saving some energy for the 2nd half.

That seemed to be the tactic, to pace ourselves better but 2nd half as Wilder would say “we were at it”, was quite impressed.

100%. We are still building and I am confident that will come over the next couple of transfer windows. We may fall short again this year and if we do then I expect us to be a serious contender next season.

This club is on a massive upwardly curve! The football is there and just needs probably 2 or 3 quality attacking players. It will come I'm sure.

Same for Boro as us tonight, dominant but not winning, they do have some big names up front aswell but still struggle to score. It's painfully difficult to get results as deserved in this league. Still a joy to watch our flow for much of the game.

I'm pig sick we haven't won that game, in the last 10 minutes everyone round me were saying the first chance they get will be a goal and it was. Not a lot wrong with the performance except we always seem to need the extra touch rather than having a shot and nothing seemed to fall for us in the box. Why when we do go in front do we always go into panic mode and start hoofing it out of defence when there is time and space to play football and keep possession why ? We are the masters of our own downfall time after time, we should have buried Stoke.
Stoke have some cracking players but don't yet seem to be a team hardly any threat all game until they brought the giraffe on. Old as Crouch is he won them a clever free kick by running across our defender and falling over his leg you can't call it a challenge. Hendo will be a bit disappointed to let that one in I think some of our team got drawn to Crouch and we left the near post unguarded, 3 man wall fuck me that was poor.

They were more bothered about what crouch was doing than doing the basics. Goalie should never have been beaten there if wall was set right and defenders did their job

What a pathetic op. Attitudes like yours are why we are unlikely to ever actually achieve anything. I ve never been able to understand why people are so easily pleased with average be it the football team you support or the quality of food you get in a restaurant. Demand better.
