Its going to be one of those weekends where things go our way. All our nearest contenders lose, we win. and we go clear.

Only downside is for Boro to lose pigs must win but they'll FIUA sooner or later so no worries there.

The only thing that is certain is that Kingston,Tom and Worksop know more abput football than Matt

Don’t know where we’ll be, but if we can play like this...

That touch of TC's might not look much to some people but it is simply magical the way he lets the ball roll up from his boot at precisely the right speed & height in order to caress the ball in the perfect spot for Woody to power it into the net.
Modern day commentators drive me mad going on about players "bringing the ball under their spell" when they do no such thing, & should be made to look at this clip so they can recognise true greatness when they see it.

We'll be 3rd or 4th.

We simply don't win away from home against decent teams.

How are you defining a 'decent team'? We were told that Blackburn were decent, hadn't lost at home in so many games, and yet we completely outplayed them. They're also on the same number of points so far this season as Derby.

I'd fancy Derby to finish higher than Blackburn at the end of the season.

Last season we didn't beat any of the nine teams that finished above us away from home (W0 D3 L6).

I think Saturday's match has got draw written all over it.

Last season is irrelevant in my eyes, we're a better team this season. I agree about the draw though

We're not a better team until we prove we're a better team.

We're only one point ahead of where we were at this stage last season.

It's important not to get carried away. We haven't yet played Leeds, WBA, Nottingham Forest or Stoke.

The two matches we have played against promotion contenders we lost (Swansea and Boro).

Both the Swansea and 'Boro games were before we finished putting our team together.

It will never be possible to prove whether we're a better team this season than last, even if we finish higher this season it could always be argued that the division is weaker (i'm not saying t is). It's just my opinion that we're a better team this season than last, we have much more strength in depth. As you say, we're at least one point better off this season.

You said that we simply don't beat decent teams away from home and mentioned last season, as if it has any relevance. We didn't beat Norwich or Preston at home last season but we have this season.

The only thing Lumpard is good at nowadays is having really fine hair.

A man is entitled to his misery.

We are patently a better team than last season (certainly post-Coutts). The evidence of the eyes is all any sensible person needs.

Your correspondent talks bollocks as a matter of routine. He delights in deriding the club he claims to support. I wouldn’t pay him any mind.

I’d sooner rely on Boro to FIU to be honest, or even finish second to them. It’s taken a superb run by us to establish a six point gap. They’ll get Piggygiddy in Barnsley if it’s reduced to three!

If you can't even get the kick off times right, I'm not playing, so there!!

Has to be said, probably a bit more realistic but we're doing well with them clean sheets right now and everyones fit so really hoping we bang a few past their man between the sticks at the filthy end of the pitch. UTB!

Spot on mate!

When TC had the ball it was often like he was in a slow-mo time bubble while all around him were manic. Always the sign of a great footballer, so much apparent time to control and play the ball as demoing this clip. It was as much about his speed of thought and reading the game as his actual ball skills in my opinion.

I never deride the football club I support, I just like to deal in facts.

And It's a fact that Chris Wilder's Sheffield United don't win away at clubs who reside at the top end of the table.
