Evening all. Looking for anyone who’s not off to the Wednesday game if they can donate their points? It’s for an actual Blade who lives away and doesn’t have enough points as he usually goes at Christmas with his family dinner buys his ticket. Appreciate it’s a long shot!

Cheers in advance!

Good luck and sorry I can’t oblige but hopefully someone may be able to help?

It’s such a shame this. There was a time, in my living memory, when you could just rock up for a derby game and pay on the day. Another example of making it difficult for fans to give the club money eh?

Doesn't he only need 500 points and a membership?
Yep. I feel for those who want to attend the derby but if they dont bother going to any other games why should they get a ticket for the big one over others who do? How long has the pts system been in place? 500 pts is sod all to achieve even in a single season.

and next season (if there is a derby) there will be people who are registered on here now, who read this thread who moan about not being able to get tickets

Yeah I take your point but he always goes with his family so they buy the tickets.

I’m just waiting to see the huge meltdown on social media tomorrow when it becomes a free for all with the tickets,

Scroats trying their hand at ticket touting

People who claim to be the worlds biggest blade but haven’t attended a game in years complaining they can’t get a tickets.

Then you got the loyal fan base of securely live.........

It seems nobody born here in Chesterfield can get borrow and lend the correct way around. Does my box in.

The loyalty points debate continues.

I’m with brownie and essexblade73. I’ve followed this club through some shite and have ended up racking over 40,000 points through the years, so I don’t see how people who only want to attend one game a season can complain.

Sorry, but if your mate lives that far away but he can get to the derby, why can’t he get to any other games to build up some points?

Not complaining nor debating. Just asking :)

Love the meltdown on me using borrow instead of lend as well!

Truth pal. I live almost 200 miles away from Sheffield and dont drive. Me and the lad go to a fair few games home and away each season, usually around 12 to 15 games total. We are members as well. We have to plan each game in terms of money and don't care who the opposition is. Its about supporting our team at all times not just when we play a big game.

Fortunately only those with 500 pts min. will be able to buy a ticket..one per person. They have to be on the club database.

Very shortsighted of him, given loyalty pts have been in place for a while and you need a certain amount to get a ticket for most big games, unless you are lucky they get to general sale.

If he bought his own ticket, would he be able to sit with his family? Or is it possible for several individuals to buy their own tickets separately but in a block to sit together?

Isn’t that what the ‘family and friends’ thing is about? You can link your mates or family and buy them tickets using their customer number so you can sit together?

I agree, but what annoys me is all those cordoned off seats. Bloody stupid. Lost revenue to the club. And do they really think it’s going to make a difference in terms of safety? It would be cheaper to have another dozen coppers or stewards and fill the stadium. Or, remove the bloody things if we can’t sit in em and put summat else there instead.
