Apologies if this has been posted already, but does anyone know what the go is with derby day tickets? I’ve got my auntie and uncle’s points but I can’t seem to use them. Says they have already purchased or booked two tickets, but they haven’t.

Can season ticket holders buy extras or is their one ticket per person their actual season ticket seat?

Are they a member? It's only members with 500 points who can book until 18th October when they go on general sale.

Season ticket holders can buy extras on this one as far as announcements from the website.

The website says one ticket only per customer number.

Aren’t you automatically a member if you have a season ticket? I’ve bought tickets using their points lots of times, but it’s saying they already have 2 booked and the max is one Per customer now. Very odd.

If they are season ticket holders then the seats are obviously booked. One ticket per customer number means to me ST holders can't just buy another ticket. And we shouldn't be allowed to if it deprives Blades with their own points .

Sorry, that meant to say can't.

Yea but it's only 1 ticket per customer so if they have a season ticket they already have their seat, hence you can't buy anymore. The only way you can buy before general sale now on 18th, is if you have an account with membership for this season and minimum 500 season points.

Better hurry, I am informed the scratchings have purchased 17k home end tickets.

Every time they claim that. Even individual posters on PorkTalk say they've got a tranche if tickets in the home stands. No other Pig ever calls them out on it when they invariably aren't there.

Is the tunnel still open?

Does general sale means free for all or is there still a registration requirement?

Tickets will then be on sale from 9am Thursday 18th October to supporters who are registered on our system with a minimum of 500 loyalty points. (Only one ticket per customer number is permitted).

From the above that means no free for all. Just removes membership requirement, so you'll still need 500 points.

I think we'll have empty seats on this one. There are loads of casual supporters that previously just buy on the day and have never had a membership number or anything that won't be able to get tickets.

When the ticket info. was released saying 500pts. It didn't give enough time for these type of fans to accumulate enough. I think there were 3 home games (50 pts each) + the 100pts for joining. That would mean that they would've needed to go to Derby and Forest for extra points which they would clearly have not got tickets for.

If there are a few thousand left after the 500pts round of sales,I wouldn't be surprised if they open it up to ST Holders +1

Is that the tunnel between the real world and La La Land where most, if not all, Wednesdayites live?

I'm screwed by this... for the past several seasons/decade my eldest brother has let me basically have his season ticket every game as hes lived away(he also buys my other brothers ticket and his lads) ..Yes I'm fortunate that I have a very generous brother.

Obviously when he could make it to a game I'd buy a ticket and he would use his season ticket. As its one ticket per account we cant use any of the season ticket points to buy a ticket for me as my brother is making it to the game.

So despite me going to every United home game(even for free, wasn't easy under Weir) ... I can't buy a ticket to the derby.

Who do you blame for this unfortunate position you find yourself in?

Box office guy said it was to stop Wednesday fans purchasing home tickets as it was an issue last year. I was in the Westfield stand for the game last year and it didn't seem an issue where I was.

Not looking to blame anyone, Just sad I can't buy a ticket. Can't see us selling out.

Been saying this too.

They’ll still be on the system though, if they’ve been to a game and bought their own ticket. I think you are still given points but you can’t do anything with them unless you become a member or you buy an ST. As far as I recall it’s been like that for some time so most occasional supporters should still be able to get them.

I think you just need a customer number, which would have been allocated once you’d bought a ticket from the computerised system and given them your name and address.

You can't accrue points when not a member or ST holder but you do not lose previously accrued points.

A friend of mine has bought a membership card to get a ticket for the Wendy match , is the ticket on the card or will they send a ticket? Thanks
