What a player!

Any younger and he’s worth millions.

He’s proved that he doesn’t need bringing off, well done Wilder for leaving him on. He’s as fit as a fiddle and should play every minute he’s available.

Reyt result.

Left all 3 forward players on til the end today (well nearly) and it paid off, we were great going forward most of the game. Maybe if he could change the defence 2 mins before we give 2 goals away and he’d be the best manager ever.

I am one of his biggest fans & just do not agree he is done after 60 minutes, the last two games have proved that to be utter nonsense, I so wish he was two or three years younger, he is one of the major reasons for our resurgence on the pitch & it would be a real shame if he couldn't still be a force for us in the years to come. In many ways he is unknown outside our fanbase & he deserves more recognition for the part he has played so far.

He can obviously last beyond 70 minutes when we're not winning.

Funny that.

He gets tired faster when we are winning, thought everyone knew this. Also Sharp will be on Oxygen tonight, saw him looking over at Wilder on 65 minutes saying what the fuck are you doing man.

It's less that he can't do 90 mins, more that why takes risks? The more often often he plays a lot of minutes, the bigger the chance of fatigue injuries - And he's proving to be one player we just can't replace.

I simply do not buy this 'Duffy can only last one hour' argument. He's got a great engine and bags of skill. Let him play on!
He gets taken off and people say he cannot last 90 minutes, weeks later it becomes fact because some folk have read it somewhere, of course he can last 90 minutes as can every other professional footballer.

First name on the teamsheet every week for me.
Edit: ( And yes I know that the first name on the teamsheet is usually Henderson!)

Funny that you called this Sheffield United team spineless. Very funny.

Shit Blade aren't I? Not in your league.

We concede soft, undeserved goals time and time and time again. And let our loanees play against us...

True...... and it made fuck all difference to the result. Some don’t half get there knickers in a twist eh?
;)

Agreed, it was never in doubt was it and we can say with certainty that we wouldn't have had it any easier had Leonard not played.

Nothing to do with being a shit Blade. You're shit at judging this team's character if you think we are spineless.

It's a loan to permanent and we wouldn't have sanctioned it if Wilder didn't think it'd benefit us. Maybe adding a clause in for him to not play against us would have fucked the deal up (which wouldn't benefit us).

It doesn’t matter does it? It’s 3 points today tomorrow and all next week. Let’s just enjoy a win that although wasn’t perfect proved that it was the right call from CW. Double ya money on a player and 3 points.

OK. Not spineless. Soft, sloppy, unfocused, charitable. Are you happier now?

Millwall were desperate. Leonard was their number 1 target. I suggest they wouldn't have pulled out of the deal simply on the basis that he couldn't play this game!

and don't forget that we always struggle at the back end of games.

I make that 3-1 to the late goal Blades now

Paper over the cracks. The last 20 minutes have been a problem all year. Let's see if we win more points than we lose in the last 20 or so over the course of the season.

It is a loan player but the deal is as wilder said he isn't out player any more so why wouldn't be able to play. The deal is a permanent you can't just stop players playing against you there all careers just because they once played for you. To be honest Ricky just think you like the attention and will say anything to get and get that attention.

Two assists and won the penalty. MOM performance. As Deadbat says when he plays well the team plays well. At this stage of the season he is fit enough to play 90 minutes so is Sharp and we have the highest win ratio when both players start. Don't get the pelters Duffy gets on this forum, we have no-one like him and the 3-1-4-2 formation is at its best when he is at No.10.

His impact and contribution to a game is vastly underrated by some Blades. At 33 he probably will tire towards the end of the season but when he's in this form he needs to be played. Time to start a thread who plays with Duffy in midfield when Coutts is back.

This place really does my fucking head in at times.

Make a completely normal, reasonable point that might not reflect entirely favourably on the club, then someone like you pops up and says I do it for the attention. Get real.
