Radio Sheffield really are infuriating. Barely describe what's happening on the pitch and cut away to the Doncaster fucking Rovers game regardless of what's going on in ours.

And Keith Edwards really really craves hoofball and dirty tackles. Loves repeating himself even more.

Against Villa we were playing out of this world till Lunny came on and we went defensive.

Not our way.
I don't mind lunny. Gives 100% and is a decent backup player. Is he as good as fleck? No but then again who else is in this division?

Thought we looked really good first half, especially in midfield. McGoldrick has missed three great chances mind, hope he gets on the score sheet second half.

That will do 0-0 at half time, city are a good side TBH wont be disappointed with a draw , but obviously would love it if we won !
Are you kidding? We should be 2 0 up. Maybe more! Henderson has had nothing to do .Disappointing.

This is the problem. He's not Fleck and last season he wasn't Coutts. If Wilder played him as Lundstram and adjusted our style to suit this we wouldn't be going on about him so much. If we play for a draw and don't do anything daft by going gung ho with the subs this will be an excellent result, Bristol are no mugs.

The guy is such a broken record.

Hope you right pal , I am not listening to it , I am at work :( , sounds promising tho . Sharp to the rescue (again) in the 2nd half then !

Good to hear we're playing well and are the better team.

RS would never let us know such small details, and Edwards is busy repeating himself going through his football grandad routine.

In terms of style I think lundstram is halfway between Coutts and fleck, we would struggle to replace fleck or Coutts as a first teamer, they aren't going to come to sit on our bench as backup.

I think we have played well so far and have slightly edged it. Don't really see a shape/style change so far.

No he doesn’t.

He says he doesn’t like slow tippy-tappy keep possession football like we had with Robson, Weir and Adkins.
He wants the passing to be quick with purpose, that’s totally different to aimless hoofball.
We’re a relatively small team that lacks massive pace, so don’t have the players for hoofball.

He does refer to his preference for it being a physical game (like in his day).
In today’s games tackling is almost outlawed. Some players seem to be almost offended when tackled and they fall down in protest.

Agree he does repeat himself a bit but most guest commentators do.
The main commentator commentates on the game. Edwards doesn’t give match commentary, he’s there to give his opinion,
which might involve a few stories about when the game was played in his day.

I’m listening to it now and think he does a good job.
He’s very honest and when we’re poor he says so, when we great he says so too.

My main annoyance with Edwards is the number of times he’s say
“The opposition have offered nothing and there’s no way they will score”, you can bet a few minutes later we’ll concede.
He also says “there’s so many chances I can gaurantee the match won’t end 0-0”, you can bet the match will then end 0-0.

Although to be fair Edwards is aware of the commentators curse and makes fun of his failed predictions.

Lundstram is playing really well today. Multiple important defensive tackles and interventions and is getting involved going forward. Great shot from the edge of the box drew a decent save.

Overall we’ve definitely created more but haven’t had guilt-edged chances. Bristol are playing very tight and pressing hard and we aren’t getting much space. They have occasionally looked dangerous but nothing we haven’t handled.

Could go either way but united edging it.

For me, we haven’t quite shown enough to win it (yet). Would be a great win if we could get it!

We have to put teams away better than this. They really do not deserve to be winning.

Too sloppy in possession, dispossessed too many times, not making the right decision passing wise and crucially not taken our chances.

Please let that be Lundstrams last ever appearance. Nothing personal but just get rid.

Eugh. Wasn’t even meant to be a shot. Flick-on header from near post looped over everybody.

They have always looked like they could do something like that. For all our pressure and possession we haven’t created enough.
