I remember the Blades played at the Sty in 1966 and I was on The Death End. Their stadium had been rebuilt for nowt for the World Cup (think West Ham) and it really was fantastic. The kop looked huge (uncovered back then) and, right at the back was the 'electronic scoreboard'. Quite a novelty back then. Electricity in S6 that is:

The kop was around 50/50 Blades/Pigs that day, with the Blades fans towards their South Stand. The game ended 2-2 and, as the Blades departed towards the back, I saw a gang of Blades lift one of their mates up towards the scoreboard. With his construction helmet (de rigeur at matches back then, along with bush jackets) in hand, he proceeded to smash as many bulbs as he could.
Since the 'Wembley of the North' days, Hillsborough has undergone many changes. Here's a more recent pic...
Anyway, another song (to the Match of the Day theme)
If you come on the Shoreham,
you'll hear a mighty roar,
fuck off you Wednesday bastards,
and don't come on no more.
...we took the Kop,
the North Bank Highbury,
it was the life we'd choose,
we'd fight and never lose,
those were the days, oh yes, they were the days.
