Used to love it when the kop would jump up and down after a goal going "Der-der-derr Der-der-derr Der-der de-de der Der-der-derr Der Derr de-de... etc to this tune.

It's the same tune as 'Shoreham's here - Shoreham's there, Shoreham's every fuckin where - na-na-na-nah Na na-nah na-nahh' and also the old Hoover 'Beats as it sweeps as it cleans' TV commercial.

Would love to see that goal celebration return. :)

Your scoreboards no good and your stands made of tin
We will drown all you bastards in bottles and tins
Ten thousand wednesdayites dead on the floor
They won't come on shoreham street kop any more.

Another late 60's/70's chant sung to death of a clown by the kinks

Obvious when no seating and fans could infiltrate each other's kop. And after swillsborough was gifted a new scoreboard by the1966 world cup committee

From the green, green grass* of Bramall Lane
To the Isles of Sicilly
We will fight fight fight for United
etc etc

* now Desso.

The car transporter thread has raised the point about the old song from the late 60's

It isn't rude, it used to be very loud sung from the kop - it should be reintroduced ready for the next Derby game in November

UTB
What's the words and what's the tune?

We've travelled far and wide London to Merseyside but there is only one place we'd rather be and that is Shoreham Street where it is magnifique where Wednesday ites lay dead at our feet, nah nah nah nah nah nah, well thats what I used to sing anyway!
Correct lyrics

"Home on the range"...starts at 29 seconds

I think that's what the original tune is taken from HB,but I think our song is taken from an Irish loyalist version called No Pope of Rome, probably sung by Rangers.

Another old but good one.

Whenever you're sad, whenever you're blue, whenever united are playing.

Beneath the kop we will fight like fcuk to keep the red flag flying

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

Unless I misheard the words, I'm sure I remember this one:

"Marching on together, we'll sing our song

Na na na

Get out your gun. Soot that Leeds cunt.

We hate Leeds Leeds Leeds"

Pissed up, usually after a defeat, the older ones would sing "Heart of my heart"

Woodhouse Blades song if I remember correctly.

That was a good un when a fight started .........
Jump down turn around kick em in the bollocks
Jump down turn around kick em in the head
Oh lordy kick em in the bollocks
Oh lordy kick em in the head

Sung to the match of the day theme tune ...............
If you come on the Shoreham you'll hear a mighty roar
Fuck off you wendy bastards and don't come here no more
Cos we support United they play their football right
And if you disagree with us there's going to be a fight.

Harry Roberts is our friend......

Or...

Bertie Mee said to Bill Shankly,
Have you heard Alan Brown has got V.D
He said yes
He's in a mess
And so are the Wednesday..F.C.
Never heard that one pal
One I remember about Allan Brown was to the tune of Grocer Jack
Allan Brown Allan Brown is it true what Ritchie said your iron lung has broken down

Ha, Ha, Alan Brown,
John Ritchie’s a Clown.
David Ford is a puff
And he knows it...
