Huge flag on the Kop

Best (flag) display I've ever seen are the Rome derby. Roma and Lazio fans spend months designing and making fantastic, detailed flags, take a look on YouTube

What the fuck is it with your obsession with the gangways? You go in through it before the game and at the end, you exit through it. Do you have an ultra weak bladder or something?

That regulation does say," maximum dimensions permitted by the club from time to time."
Under normal circumstances the maximum dimensions are as a stated but "from time to time" means that you can, with the club permission, have a flag bigger than that. Well that's the way I read it anyway.
 
Pointless having a MASSIVE one due to them bloody pillars anyway. Might as well give everyone a bit of coloured card and hold them up in unison as the teams come out onto the pitch.
 
Be great if they let us have flares and smoke canisters and confetti on the kop as well. Dortmund make it look great hahaha.

Give the staff at Lane a reason to give me my by weekly fondle and reach around instead of it just being fun.

I'd put a few quid in for a massive "50 Years" banner against the massive to celebrate the massive half century since they averaged 30,000.
 
Why can't we just go back to simpler times and welcome the team with countless streaming bog rolls being chucked on to the pitch. Warmed the keeper up as they went round their box (no pun intended) picking up the bog roll and putting it behind the net.

They had the added advantage of rolling about in it too, if they had been truly shite.

When i was a lad, my subbuteo teams always came out to a load of thrown bog roll for a touch of added authenticity. I also scrawled graffiti outside the grandstand with a marker pen (I saved my pennies for the Grandstand and floodlights) before mum found out and gave me a clip round the lugs for 'having no respect for my things'.

It seems that for EVERY game they allow much bigger flags on the Liverpool Kop at Anfield.
They always have a few on their Kop waving flags that look to be at least 2m x 3m.
Although I suppose there’s a rule that “Liverpool FC are a special case and the rules don’t apply to them”.

To be fair our fans are an average age of about 65.

At least the ground was quite colourful against Villa though. As red and white as I've seen it for a while. But now I suppose it's back to being plain black until next August. Because.... weather.

Something like the above takes organising, and not many of ours could be bothered
Too many would complain about it and our police force would make it worse by baton charging into it thinking they could restore order, when order had never been lost in the first place

Sums it up.

Our fans can't be arsed. And even if they could, SYP and the council would put a stop to it.
 
Actually being bothered and motivated to do something positive for the club apart from tutting when a foul goes the wrong way in a match is slightly out of reach for some of our fans...
 
Fire Hazard apparently.

Also heard that it covers the aisles and exit points which SAG raised concerns about.

That's the problem
Mind you they're correct, if something like that was even allowed in the first place some of our fans would find it impossible to resist launching a firework or flare.
The atmosphere was really starting to build up in 2002 and Bramall Lane became a mixture of noise, colour and craziness in the stands, but the flarechuckers eventually got the whole lot closed down

Maybe we can get something similar going again..... if 80% of the current Kop fans can be relocated.

I hope the spastics who launched the fireworks/flares feel the guilt they should do. That said, the deterioration we've had over the last 10 years or so isn't their fault.

They won’t though. It’s their right to set off as many flares as they like, and not give two fucks about whoever is near them or whoever they hit with it when it gets too hot to hold.
