Wilder Out ?

I wonder if those on here who were saying it time for Wilder to go a few weeks ago And it’s the same pattern at all his previous clubs 2 seasons then gone , 4 wins in 20 comments etc feel a little embarrassed now ? Then again I suppose we’re only one game away from a crisis with some

I think there was about two people in the world who actually wanted Wilder out, and they were clearly not playing with a full deck of cards.

Most suggested that his team selections were wrong after the first two games, and he changed the side to more or less what we all said he should.

He got rid of Evans, who was getting universally slated on here, and replaced him with Norwood.

So basically, Wilder has admitted that the fans were right.

Excellent post mate. I've also made the same point after read a couple of threads from established posters, suggesting that Wilder's time as manager had come to a shuddering halt. Their absence on this topic is all the more noticeable due to their silence, almost as if they have nothing to offer in defence of their petulance and irritable behaviour.

I don't want to tempt fate, things have a funny way of changing as most of us are aware. But we now appear to have replaced the poor performances with something exhilarating, something that tells all Blades that we have a team worthy of it's supporters. UTMB!

Excellent post mate. I've also made the same point after read a couple of threads from established posters, suggesting that Wilder's time as manager had come to a shuddering halt. SP, I'll do my best to provide the info you requested. I don't recall saying that I wrote that Wilder should be sacked, but I do recall writing that some posters suggested that Wilder had run out of steam and therefore was no longer fit to manage the Blades. A difference I know, but one worthy mentioning.

As it was after our second game this season these posters can be found around that time, so perhaps it's worth doing a little detective work and you'll find the same posts as I've mentioned. I was addressing the general tone of despondency, not whether I think the same posters should be hung, drawn, and quartered!

Whether you think this is weak doesn't matter. I'm not the only poster who shares this opinion, so perhaps you should dedicate a few hours to telling those other posters that you feel their posts are a waste of time. You'll find said posts appearing from about the 4th August for a week or two. A few results in and the same posters are very, very quiet. Good luck, let's see if you can make the effort...UTMB

i can see where you’re coming from but i reckon most of the anti Wilder posts were from ‘new’ ahem posters and were outed as such.. it’s not up to me to find the proof!

You're right, you don't have to make the effort to identify the posters mentioned, but you do seem to remember posters at this time as being 'new' posters. Strange how you doubting me and remembering that 'new' posters attacked Wilder also seems to not include these more established posters, but there you go, sometimes we all have a selective memory and this appears to be such a case.
