Most likely deal is one involving Leonard for Gregory as both clubs are in need of players in the respective positions.

Millwall needed a striker, that’s why they signed Bradshaw. Why would they then let one go? Makes no sense

While not necessarily accepting the source of this news, as a general approach I thought it was an error to say we had barely touched the Brooks money for exactly this sort of reason, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if we’ve had some clubs (and agents) taking the piss as a result. This is why I’ve never had a problem with us having undisclosed fees for our deals.

Really don’t care whether we sign anyone or not. It’s an absolute circus doing any business in these windows and I find the notion of waiting for fruit to drop from above tedious. If we’re being put on hold and put on hold.....move on!

If there is no one else we want to spend money on then wait until January and have a look at the market then. We’re playing well and scoring goals currently with a key player on the way back. Let’s not rush to spend the budget.

I’m glad I mostly stayed away from the rumour mill the last two weeks. Seeing people agonising over a potential signing day after day is tiresome.

Anyway, I’ll let you get back to listing all of the strikers that most definitely, really, would have improved us, you might have to check which other names Ricky has mentioned first though.....

One injury up front and we’re down to two starting plus Lavery as our only striking option from the bench. With Lavery’s injury record I wouldn’t be surprised if he got injuryed as well.

I'm not a football expert, but I'd bet pretty much anything that I could find a young Premier League striker who we could comfortably loan and would be an improvement on Lavery.

Great stuff, I knew we’d get to the whole ‘I know more than you’ stage at some point but that was quicker than I thought.

At what point did I say none of those 4 players would improve us? You’ll notice I didn’t but it seems that Wilder may have felt that way at least.

Nope, don’t think I have ever suggested anyone (which is absolute definitive proof that you know more than me, obviously).

By ‘suggesting’ do you just mean listing players that have signed for other teams and/or ones that Ricky has already mentioned?

Can you provide a link to where you ‘suggested’ any of those players before they made their most recent moves?
