The Johnson deal seems more dependent on Boro signing another winger than a greedy agent. Wait and see I guess. Maybe the centre forward deal is less sorted and an agents being an arse, who knows. Seem to recall Twirlo hasn't always been spot on?

Wilder does an interview on Thursdays so we'll probably know tomorrow where we stand.

We could be fine without any strikers coming in, maybe.

Certainly not an optimal situation, and very risky.

But regarding agents, it really is absolutely disgusting. They make sure as much as possible is left to the deadline so they can extort the fuck out of everybody. It's crooked and it fucking stinks.

Most likely deal is one involving Leonard for Gregory as both clubs are in need of players in the respective positions.

Depends if Leon finds his scoring boots at the back of his glove draw.....McG is pushing it now still being fit and it is only a matter of time before something breaks....and Lavery hasn't been involved and doesn't look interested, ( understandably to be fair).

There's every chance we could be going into October/November with Billy, a confidence shattered Leon, an injured McG and......Lavery.

There has to be loads of options out there I can't believe that Wilder is so stupid to only have Boro & Villa in his sights sitting by the phone praying they get someone in.
