As with all areas, as you say, there are good and bad bits. If you're born and raised Essex then it's not difficult to pine when you're away, unless of course you're from a scummy bit. Chelmsford is now a city so it's making itself posher by the minute. But back to Lenny, and Lenny's lady, not all Essex girls fit the Essex stereotype that it's so easy to label them with. Yes you’re right about that. Home is home to most of us. I bought a car from a garage in Chelmsford 3 years ago. That was the last I was down there but I didn’t go into the town. When I lived there it was a few weeks in a “motel” on a roundabout on the A12! The Miami Grill it was called. Not posh!

I don’t know about Lenny’s lady but he’s a good looking lad and I trust he has found a classy bit of skirt. I can tell you about a girl I met in St Osyth near Clacton who definitely fitted the Essex stereotype and wasn’t classy at all. Just the way I preferred it at the time!

Could we not do a swap loan deal with Gregory coming the other way (or other striker they have) then decide what to do in terms of permanent signing at the end of the season ?

Wilder's said he doesn't want him as you probably know. I can't see Millwall letting him go right at the end of the window; Gregory is crucial to Millwall, without him they could be in a relegation battle. I'd rather someone who is either a similar type to Clarke - for competition - or fast as we have no one with pace. Gregory is nether. Still a good player mind.

I don’t wear colours mate. I did. But I went on this course some years ago to work out what the best colours were for my complexion and personality. It came out resoundingly beige. So I am all in beige now. Doesn’t clash with anyone and what’s it matter if I look like a pensioner going on me holidays?
