The ex Pig really did well to totally ignore our 3-0 away win in the both of the shows he’s presented tonight. Nothing at all after the goals were shown and no mention when showing the league tables and when the scores were up on the screen even though both were on several times tonight in both programs.

He did manage along with his smirking ex Pig mate though to bore me s****** with the an extended discussion of the game at the Sty without once mentioning the main talking point which was the ridiculous sending off, and at the death he incredibly said what a fantastic start to the season Bolton are having to the season.

I wonder if Chris has upset him? I hope he has. ;)

I prefer us under the radar. Let everybody keep thinking we’re “physical hard workers who huff and puff and are dangerous from set-pieces”. That’ll surprise them when they turn up and get Flecked, Norwooded and ripped asunder by our overlapping centre halves.

I think Morrison said "their'll be there or thereabouts" about all the other teams in the Championship, except us.
Great! :)............looks like we're under the radar again where we belong

I'm happy with that . A quick look at what the Bolton fans have said about us after we'd systematically dismantled them is music to my ears . Here's hoping every fucker else is doing exactly the same when we've beaten them too .

Fucking disgrace.Quest for me from now on.

Dean Ashton just said it shouldn't be a surprise anymore how we can achieve such good results in this league.

I think we are seen by most as a solid Championship club now which shows what great progress we have made. I doubt you would find one pundit who thinks we will be down the bottom but we aren't cool enough yet to be talked about promotion contenders.

We know how good we can be and how good to watch we usually are but we also know our limitations.

don't think we've spent enough mone to be considered promotion contenders by "those in the know"

Prutton is hardly a dyed in the crackling born and bred farmed porker is he ?

Played for forest and Southampton . Most of his career was at the pigsfor like one season

In fairness, even if Prutton had licked the monitor and sang the GCB he’d still be a shite presenter (IMO). No idea how he fell into that job.

He's the best of Sky's stable which says a lot about how shit Sky's stable is at the moment.

He's Terry Wogan in comparison to Minty Minto.

Kelly Cates presented this last season I think, she's head and shoulders above anyone else on Sky Sports apart from Jeff.

I thought Ashton waffled, spluttered and said nowt. He knew nothing about us.

And, on the third goal, they only showed the final ball in and the finish - not the 16 passes in the build up to the goal.

Never heard of this Prutton character.

Benjamin Bloom said Wednesday were "dog wank" today.

I may have misquoted him but I knew what he meant

Harsh.

Nothing special, but I wouldn't have said that it was pedal-and-crank.

Forestieri went down as if someone had bludgeoned him, which enraged the travelling Ipswich fans.

It enraged them even more when their lad got a red ...

Tufty's erstwhile target Joao scored two.

“Get Flecked” I love that

right place right time & after too money spent on PL tv rights. Cheap

Wednesday have got a fortunate run of fixtures because they had to take advatange as Millwall were dreadful It was like watching in slow motion compared to us. then Reading & Ipswich will be fighting relegation come may which comes in handy for "project keep jos in job". the next 7 after international break will be the big test. I cant see where they get too many points from Stoke H, Forest A, Villa A, Leeds H, WBA H, Bristol city A, Middlesboro H

And yet you only just scraped a win against them, at home, after the referee had gifted you an advantage.

A fair point, but the reason I think they'll go isn't because of their general play.

Hurst plays one up front, and although I thought they played some decent stuff they never really looked threatening.

I spoke to some Ipswich fans after the game, and obviously they were preoccupied with the red.

But I think the penny is dropping that maybe McCarthy going wasn't such a good idea after all.

In truth, they've been hit by a double whammy.

Letting a manager go who gets better results than you would expect with the players he has - even if it's terrible to watch.

Also, letting experienced players go and expecting young ones to fill their boots.

As for Wednesday, not a great performance, but then it rarely is.

But Wednesday have players who can score goals, in fact they've probably got too many and not enough players elsewhere.

If Wednesday had to rely on playing well to win games, then they'd go down, no worries.

And what an achievement that is! Only our 2nd season back at this level and we're acknowledged as a solid team. We may or may not do better than that this season, but after 6 years in L1, we should be happy and proud that we're so quickly established as a solid team at this level.

Tough fixtures, but tough for most teams in the league too.

A lot of it will depend who Jos brings in before the deadline.

I mean, if it's Hector and Piazon, as is emanating out of Chelsea circles, then it does put a different complexion on things.

Mind you, it only calls into question further how a club can suddenly spend when it's been under embargo, because Piazon's wages will be a pretty penny, and Chelsea don't pay them when a player's on loan .
