Ameobi back on the bench tonight and came on after 62 minutes so expect him to start against us now. Great.
We’ve got enough to beat them, fuck them.

Lucky bastards again tonight. I don’t know how they’re not losing games and conceding goals.

It's set up quite well for us with them scraping wins the stats suggest they might not deserve. Due a defeat for sure.

3rd with 10 points (equal top),won 3 drawn 1,scored 3 with 3 against.

They know how to win tight games by the looks of that.

Anyone dissing Bolton wants to take a deep breath, scratch their head and go for a crap.

And they have players who like to score against us,in the past.

Which players?

If we play football to the best of our ability then we’ll beat these kick and chase merchants.

Leonard deserves a start and he can more than put up a fight to challenge these cunts.

Bring Leonard in for Woodburn and keep the rest as they are, that should suffice against these fuckers.

As you can see, I love Bolton.

This post definitely wont come back to bite us on the arse.

A Bolton fan has just been on Talksport he said that last season they created chances and played well but tended to lose
But this season their games are tight and he said he can’t see Bolton scoring but then they score.

Stats can sometimes be misleading but the stats to date show that for all 4 of their league games and also the cup game.
The opposition have dominated with more possession, more shots and more corners.
Hence why logic suggests that Bolton are due defeat.
Usually a team that attacks more, has more shots, more corners is more likely to gain favourable results.

I must have been asleep for a month but is baldock injured??? Just curious as to why he isn't in the squad and that's all I can believe it is

Could it be because he is a wingback who's not particularly good at winging and equally mediocre at fullbacking?

Looks like Sameobi will be missing for Bolton, with Wildschut (great loan signing) likely to start.

Wheater, Beevers and Magennis are the main fucking big fuckers. Then they have a few mere solid fuckers like Lowe and Vela.

Let's just hope Oztumer and Donaldson don't start. We know what will happen...

Also won an Oscar for best soundtrack with Chariots of Fire. He’s got more than one string to his bow (of burning gold). :)

Subs: Moore, Stearman, Lafferty, Lundstram, Duffy, Woodburn, McGoldrick

Woodburn can't start after Saturday. Duffy likely to below 100% after the virus. Leonard deserves a chance in midfield after his display.

I think Wilder will be more inclined to play Stearman than Leonard though, with Basham in midfield like at QPR.

Be a hard game this, Bolton have retained their physicality but improved a fair bit technically with their recruitment this summer. They play tonight for some reason, at home to Birmingham, so that should give us a considerable advantage. But if we win it'll undoubtedly be our best of the season so far.

Well...Bolton had the good sense to sign Oztumer - a player I wish we would have signed - so maybe that's got something to do with it? But, be very clear...it's only 4 games in, no-one is more surprised by Bolton's lofty league position than Bolton fans themselves. According to some they are in a "false" position and have more than their fair share of good fortune so far. Their danger man appears to be Magennis. A chap who started out in life as a goalkeeper then turned striker. He'll be one to watch I suspect. We are more than a match for them, as we proved over the past 2 seasons. Personally I think it will be a draw.

I'd expect Bolton's line up to be close to this. Maybe Oztumer will start.

I think Magennis may actually be one of the signings of the season. He's their only cash signing and quite a barrel scraping one at that, but he's a very good target man, I could see that when we last played Charlton at The Valley. So he'll be important for them, and it looks like he might even score a few, he's already got 3. 10 would be a good return. Oztumer and Wildschut are two other good signings, and they'll need them to chip in, along with Ameobi, if they are to stay out of trouble.

Yes forgot about Wildschut. He impressed me when he played for Norwich. Good player.

Birmingham were the better side yesterday according to Sky and they got behind the Bolton backline a few times.

That said they have improved and we struggled big time against the last hoof merchants we played so let's hope we have learnt something.

Notice i said squad, not starting 11, i think freeman offers a bit more, but i think baldock is a pretty good player too

If we have to change our tactics and formation to counter theirs does that mean they will be doing the same? Be aware, as we will be of their strengths but stick to what we are good at, let Norwood ,Fleck and Duffy do what they are good at and 7 out of 10 times the footballers (us) will win.

See the baldock haters back again.

A player who was constantly in the top 3 performers each game last season ,all of a sudden isn't good enough.

Baffling.

Not really, I suspect a few are like me. I like to have 3 scapegoats going at any one time, any less, and it looks like I’m over doing it and picking on one particular player. I’ve made that mistake before and the police get involved, and then the courts, and then restraining orders, and shit like that. It’s just not worth it. Any more and it looks like i hate the whole team & I’m a Wednesday fan.

Clarke’s form so far has been a god send, so he’s a ‘given’ at the moment, but conversely, two of my favourite bugbears have now left the club. If I continued to moan about Holmes & Evans, I’d come across as obsessed. Sharp has started well this season, so he’s going to drop off the list because, I’d look silly slagging off a player with 3 in 3. Lundstram isn’t getting on the pitch much, so he’s not really giving me a stick to beat him with (but rest assured when the bastard does, I’ll give him pelters). Leonard is beginning to improve, again, much to my upset. So i’m beginning to panic a bit. I don’t want to be left short handed, desperately scrabbling about for a whipping boy, having to fully support the team every match. It’s just not my style. Luckily, Baldock’s just next on the list. ;) :D

High energy, ball on the deck, play Duffy n we'll run rings round em.

Almost certain to concede from atleast 1 set piece.

Leonard has to start If he doesn’t start then we may aswell loan him out . Lunny and Evans got there fair crack give Leonard 2 or 3 matches before Coutts is back
