.....times up i'm afraid. Surprised how uninterested he is looking. Wilder says the goals will come but first you need to put in a performance. Lacklustre is the best i can describe today's "effort".
How many more chances will Wilder give him?.The sooner we get a new guy up front the better we will be. He is missing so many chances it's unreal.

Thought he was great today.

Thought Leon played well today, apart from his finishing but it’ll come.
Wilder has just been on the radio and he also commented at how well Leon played today.
Criticism was fair after the Swansea game but not today, thought Billy put in a decent shift too.

Did you go to the game?

Will never be good enough for some, note the posters who’ve slagged him off since the league 1 days and you’ll notice that despite 19 goals last season and a good job of leading the line at times this season they still won’t accept him.

And whoever said he and O'Connell
are overweight is definitely correct. Put on a couple of stone since May and he's playing like a cunt.

Leon played well today, its just not going for him at the minute, but it will change.

has leon fucked your wife derf

you have an extraordinary hatred of him
got to be something serious

watched us on i follow and he ran his bollocks off for the cause

And whoever thinks that you can put on a fifth of your previous weight and not be obviously fatter is posting like a cunt.

Unfair, for me. Thought he was much better today, did some good things, most importantly got in the right positions. Unlucky not to score.

How exactly was not putting chances away “unlucky”? Surely it’s just poor finishing?

It’s like saying Harry Kane is lucky because his shots hit the back of the net.

Sorry Leon................for not saying thanks earlier for laying the winner on a plate for Billy to score.

We must have watched different games I thought he played well and was very unlucky not to score.

I thought he actually got better as it went on where the Norwich defenders tired, which suggests his fitness isnt so much of an issue and that he (and Sharp) had run their defence ragged.

True, you find that the best strikers tend to be lucky...they seem to blast the ball near the keeper and it goes in
Whereas poor strikers seem to be unlucky with the keeper making great saves.

You can legislate for odd games of good luck and poor luck but there’s a pattern of bad luck forming with Leon.

However Leon has 2 things in his favour.
His scoring record shows that he had spells where he doesn’t score, then he has little spells where he scores loads of goals. Wilder has even said tonight it’s only a matter of time before Leon goes on a scoring streak again.

Also Leon has much more to his game than scoring, he can play the target man, he can hold up the ball, he offers some physicality, he’s capable of odd moments of class scoring a goal from nothing and he’s also got decent awareness setting others up. He’s inconsistent though otherwise he’s have spent time in the Premier League.

That’s probably why Wilder is being patient with him.

I think everyone knows we need a striker below the age of thirty and with a fair bit more pace than the ones we've got. I also think the Waghorn sale showed just how much you have to pay for a striker who didn't even outscore Leon last season.

He cost us fuck all from Bury. Everyone laughed at how we'd struggle with him up front in the Championship and instead we're disappointed that he probably won't take us into the play-offs.

What does "time's up" even mean? We haven't got a replacement. Barring a loan signing we aren't likely to get one. Leon will almost certainly start in our next match.

To me he’s not a terrible player, he’s just not good enough to be our number 1 striker that plays every minute.

I have no issue with him being in the squad and starting say half the matches this season and being used off the bench for the rest.

Before Norwood we looked a bottom half team, now we look a 8th to 12th team. A better striker would take us to play off contenders, if we go all season with Clarke as the main man we won’t improve on last season.
