If we are interested it shows the lack of genuine quality striker options because from a wages and character point of view he's far from what you'd expect us to go for. He'd be another striker aged over 30 as well.

If there was any way we could get him on the right terms it would be an interesting prospect, and could be a masterstroke. He's either 'on' or 'off' and when he's on he's a very good player. Get him focused and buying into the club and the project and he'll do well.

Wouldn't be against this, we wouldn't get a striker as good without taking some sort of gamble. With him it's attitude.
