Really don't think we will drastically change the shape or team. It's clear that Wilder sees that as our formation going forward. I'd like for Leonard to get a go today. Maybe we will see Kean Bryan?

I think Leonard will come in for Evans and that may be about it.

1-1 draw fingers crossed.

Regardless of the result we need a performance today, back to our swashbuckling best hopefully.

Let Fleck and Duffy do their thing, perhaps with Woodburn behind one striker Would like to see Leonard and Bryan get a chance to start as well.

We really need a point at least today and a much better performance. Going to be a tight game.

We need a shake up, I think Clarke has become complacent as he knows he's going to be starting every game, well I'd be starting without him today!, I think he needs to know he will be dropped if he doesn't perform, which he hasn't been doing so far!
Hope we see Duffy and Sharpe start, or/and Woodburn, I'd also like to see Bryan on the left in place of Stevens, as I don't think he warrants a start on his last 2 performances!
I'd also start Moore at the back, atleast he shouts and directs his defence!
COME ON BLADES!

I'd add that I think we'll play a different formation today. The players Wilder's been looking at would hint of a change. Either a flat back 4 or 1 up top.

As you've probably seen I've fully backed CW this week but I get the impression he wont start with everyone we expect just incase it comes off straight away.
You might laugh, you might think I'm looking toomuch into it and after all why would he not pick a team just to spite us? But listening to his interview in the week he said Duffy has a God like staus with us fans because of the wednesday performance, sharp too in a way. I think he obviously wants to do it his way and I personally believe he might reluctantly play both our "golden boys" in case us daft fans say... we told you so
I think he stuck with the same team last week to try and redeem the side he picked at Swansea.
Anyway fuck it, i sound like a knocker again and I'm not. Il support whoever he puts out there.
COYRAWW

I think he’ll start with the same as last match but add Norrington-Davies to midfield in place of Evans. (If we haven’t sold him).

Really? That seems out of left field. I'd be suprised with that. No sharp, Woodburn or Duffy at all? I know he doesn't make massive changes but that would be a surprise.

Duffy's been mediocre for a while now and I get why Wilder doesn't play him that much. We talk about upgrading Basham and Co but we clammer for Sharp and Duffy to be in the team when Bash has been consistently better than both of them two for a while now. Duffy came on against Inter and looked out of sorts, comes on against Boro when things are easier and we must now get him in the team. I agree with Wilder about the god-like status, can't live off the bounce kill forever and neither can fans allow it to tint their glasses.

So what other creative midfielder on our books would you select today?

I reckon he will eventually break into the team this season, but not yet. If anything I reckon Bryan will come in first.

I don't know what matches fans like you are watching.

Are you saying we look better without him?

Good pick. Happier with that. Sharp and Duffy playing, RND on the bench, Freeman.

We're having a go.

4 changes

Evans gone
Lunny and McGoldrick on the bench
Baldock not in the squad

Sharp, Stearman, Freeman and Duffy in.

Presume Basham in midfield.

N-D on the bench.

4 changes and neither Leonard or Woodburn start, and Stevens keeps the shirt. Bizarre.

Presumably Baldock's injured. Don't know what's happened to Bryan.

Line up:

Henderson

Egan Stearman O'Connell

Freeman Basham Fleck Stevens

Duffy

Sharp Clarke

Subs: Moore, Lafferty, Norrington-Davies, Leonard, Lundstram, Woodburn, McGoldrick

Sylla in for Smith up front for QPR. Freeman starts.

Odd that he doesn't fancy Leonard in midfield.

Let's see how this goes.

I have no idea what's going on with Leonard. He obviously trusts him to be on the bench (or He'd have Slater there) but he never seems to get closer to a start. I guess you know what you're getting with Bash.

Pleased with the changes but no Baldock even on the bench so maybe he was one of those with knocks.

Looking at QPR's team I'm pleased to see Matt Smith not starting for them, he is a unit. He'll no doubt come on when they're losing!

2 - 1 Blades today, Clarke and Billy to score.

game is available to watch on t'interweb apparently, or so I am told.

heston Blumenthal couldn't score a goal for us today, but someone else might - you just need to put your mind to it and use google

Apparently, once it's on, press the RED cross in the middle of the advert - so I am informed

i dont get the duffy comment from wilder. because if that was the case then surely Clarke would have the same status but people have been wanting him dropped now for a few months. duffy is important to us proven on too many times that without him we are toothless. he got 9 assists & 6 goals last season

but on qpr for me before we can think about going forward we need to see some organision in defence I would've said better but that would imply falsely that were some. as Middlesbrough was atrocious I know how panama felt back in june, too many times last season & all 5 goals conceded this season have been absolute gifts. that has to stop

I'm assuming...........Leaonard missed a bit of pre-season with injury, so might not be at the full level required for a start?

I pretty sure Baldock is injured he had a bit of treatment against Middlesbrough.

Or could it mean four at the back , in which case

Oops .....I'd be well chuffed .

Either way , it looks a much better team than the last two he's put out .
