Well a week is a long time in football it seems, with the optimism ahead of last Saturday's game turning into start reality with disappointment on Saturday, Tuesday and arguably Thursday. Our recent league record isn't so good at QPR, but it certainly feels like something positive needs to happen today to avoid a very unpleasant weekend on the Blades 'forums' at the very least. Not much to take as positives so far but it's very very early days....

Anyway...

Any team news? :)

At least Lundstram and Evans cannot be playing together today...

Sharp to partner Goldy up top?

Surely for a Duffy start?

??

Not expecting much this afternoon, but that's what happens after the manner of the 2 defeats. QPR are a team expected to struggle, but I still can only see a draw at best this after, mostly likely 1-1. Hopefully I'm wrong and we finally get off the mark in winning style but I won't hold my breath....

Safe journey folks

I'm very sorry to report that this is the first away league match I'll be missing since Swindon in L1.

But it's beIN shown on foreign TV so there'll be streams.

Today could see Enda rested. He's struggled for a long time and Chris has shown him real support in terms of selection, so i would think we may see a change there and maybe a new approach to our shape.

Come on United let’s get the season started

Something out of it would be brilliant but more than anything I hope to see us with the bit between our teeth and getting at them.

Fear it’ll be a 1-0 defeat, but if the performance is there, I’m ok with that !

Need to be very much on the ball today at set plays/corners..........danger man Smith will pounce.

Please Wilder no Lundstram today.

Woodburn to score a cracker, assisted by Duffy.

First 3 points of the season today boys.
2-1 Woodburn and Leon.

We can't win in London so a 1-1 would be absolutely incredible.

Luke Freeman guaranteed to do something against us.

Matt Smith should have at least one gift if we continue defending corners like spineless fucking imbeciles.

Come on, get behind the lads, remember, were the 12th man!!
Really hope there are changes, and the lads put in a performance, show the fans we can play football!
I'd love a win as we all would, I'd take a draw, as I think we all would, but, even if we lose and play really well, it'll be a vast improvement on the last 2 games.
Come on boys, give us summat to cheer about!!!!

COYWARW!!!

Was AFC Wimbledon our last league win in London, struggling to remember before that, Brentford away first season back in league one?

As you've probably seen I've fully backed CW this week but I get the impression he wont start with everyone we expect just incase it comes off straight away.
You might laugh, you might think I'm looking toomuch into it and after all why would he not pick a team just to spite us? But listening to his interview in the week he said Duffy has a God like staus with us fans because of the wednesday performance, sharp too in a way. I think he obviously wants to do it his way and I personally believe he might reluctantly play both our "golden boys" in case us daft fans say... we told you so
I think he stuck with the same team last week to try and redeem the side he picked at Swansea.
Anyway fuck it, i sound like a knocker again and I'm not. Il support whoever he puts out there.

Really don't think we will drastically change the shape or team. It's clear that Wilder sees that as our formation going forward. I'd like for Leonard to get a go today. Maybe we will see Kean Bryan?

nah come on Chris.. Duffy has god like status because he plays like one. Billy because he has scored a bazillion goals for us. it's pretty simple. they have tendency to actually turn up whereas their replacements don't

i dont get the duffy comment from wilder. because if that was the case then surely Clarke would have the same status but people have been wanting him dropped now for a few months. duffy is important to us proven on too many times that without him we are toothless. he got 9 assists & 6 goals last season

but on qpr for me before we can think about going forward we need to see some organision in defence I would've said better but that would imply falsely that were some. as Middlesbrough was atrocious I know how panama felt back in june, too many times last season & all 5 goals conceded this season have been absolute gifts. that has to stop
