I get what you're saying, I really do. But everything off the field up to this point has been disorganised which doesn't fill me with confidence that we are going to get the players we want

I did say on shoutbox that maybe I was guilty of trying to censor the other way around.

I'm not sure tantrum is fair for most people. Confused, frustrated definitely. The odd person just flipped and said everything was shit but most were just trying to figure out wtf was going on

Tantrum isn't fair for most, but it's applicable to a large minority.

Seriously. Criticism of actions, done constructively, can be positive. Just feel generalisations and character assassinations achieve very little.

Spending money isn’t a problem, it’s signing wank players that is the problem.

It’s both: signing wank players for too much money and putting them on wages that are higher than they’re worth, so you can’t move them on. Clubs don’t do this deliberately but it’s something that many clubs seem to do, which indicates it’s an easy trap to fall into.

Shankly’s golden rule was ‘sign good people’. That’s as relevant now as it was then.

Exactly, which is why I said no club does it deliberately but many fall into doing it. Fortunately, we don’t pay big wages so when CW gets it wrong he can usually move the players on.
