I went to the Swansea game and the team selection by Wilder was to blame. No creativity, sideways and backwards movement like watching England in WC and no wing back action.
Clarke and co up front couldnt perform with the service and balls over hit, under hit and Evans / Lundstram/ Egan are not the right chemistry.

Middlesborough game was lost due to defense being inept, fast asleep and not aware of each others roles in first 20 minutes. The chances came with Duffy on and we know he has 45 mins in his legs at pace.
So in perspective Wilders team choice was again to blame and the flair players need to be on pitch from outset.

But having said the above the reaction from the posts is crazy. United are like the Morecambe & Wise sketch ie all the notes are there but not played in right order. The team is not the right mix and the tactics are too negative but there are enough skills if the correct players are selected.

A couple of loans, a couple of wins in bag and hopefully the doom merchants will sod off and moan about something else. Be careful what you wish for ie Sheffield Wednesday model by blowing money on average players.

That told me. I'll never complain again :D

Seriously, it's a message board and we've been shit and had a god awful transfer window. What do people expect?

Leave CW to his job, once the players cross the line it's out of his hands.
He'll give players a chance to redeem themselves, if it doesn't happen, he'll deal with it.
We've been there before, and, I'm sure we'll be there again.
He's as much a blade as we are, and, he'll be hurting too, but, he's got character and determination, with a good crew behind him.
Please you downbeats, if you have nothing constructive to say, then, keep it buttoned, instead of trying to derail his ambitions for the blades.
I'm sure that you'll be more than welcome across the city at goodwill farm.

And just to be clear, the players that cross the line are picked by him and been told his tactics. And if they decide to do something other then they were told, there are more players on the bench he has picked.

Not a criticism, more an observation.

Blades will be like Lewis Hamilton starting at back of grid and when they find their gear they will be up near front of pack but need a new engine in midfield to dictate the play. Coutts better be firing on all cylinders plus a speedy new load forward and Freeman back.

I’m sick of hearing about the Wednesday scar story to be honest!

Spending money isn’t a problem, it’s signing wank players that is the problem.

Make you right Bucksblade, but this shit and inept start could have been avoided, if CW just stepped back before the opening game and played the right team in the right order. Then compound the fact by doing the same thing next game in.

Totally agree with your comments, If they don't follow his instructions, then, they're resigned to the central league side (who can remember that) lol.
Trust CW, he'll put things right, come the next transfer deadline, those not performing will be gone.
He's single minded, and has direction, don't follow his lead, taxi.

John Egan.
Let's see how that pans out shall we.
Even if he improves beyond recognition to throw fucking 4 million at Brentford for him is ridiculous when the midfield is as it is and fucking Dad's Army up front.

I was thinking about it & if you dont follow F1 Might not make sense. But this window has reminded me of honda in F1 for years they over promised & under delivered which cause anger because if your promising top 3s but you cant finish a race. As What happened between sunday & Tuesday its like we misplaced £12m. We went from plenty of money bids for 2 loans & 2 permanent to skint. What happened to the quality striker (no offence to mcgoldrick but we know thats not him), what happened to pushing on in may, not interested in mid table consolidation & what happened to the midtable budget. Dont mind beaten by boro stoke forest others but we getting shown up by Wigan & Blackburn who have half our attendance. Latter 100m+ in debt & probally a lower wage bill than we did 10 years ago in championship

Sure wilder also said last month that squad would look a lot different when it shuts. I was being positive theres 3 weeks left 2 weeks, a week, a few days, deadline day. Came & went. Im struggling to see a difference to 12 months ago nevermind 3 weeks ago. Im not saying going like wednesday spending stupid money on 8 players. But 1 player is viable if you believe in his talent when i was buying my 1st car i had £2000 budget. But there was a car that fit my criteria but £500 more but had 30,000 miles. Did i discount it & go for 80,000 miles in budget. No spent a bit more as it was worth it in long run. Same with waghorn if he wanted 20-25k a week take a punt as if gets 25 goals a season. He would pay off massively with draws turn into wins with that goalscorer & knowing this club probally be sold for a 10m profit in 12 - 18 months

We know wilder a fan so you assume that he has clubs best interests at heart. Is feud still going was quote that i find extremely hard to believe after we got battered. "No one out there that can improve us" more barbs aimed at the board. Is he cutting his nose off to spite his face to proved it. But something doesnt add up

John Egan, will be decidedly average, not great but not that bad either
£4 million, I still can't believe it
I just can't believe that the tightest football club in history would spend £4 million on such averageness

Wednesday can't even pay a fucking radio station for coverage you fucking wanker.

Discussion, analysis and ultimately criticism would be preferable to the hysteria on here IMO.
I think the frustrating thing about yesterday on here was that anyone doing anything other than pointing out the loan window is still open was being hysteric apparently.

Yesterday was the culmination of a troubling summer - no real plan apart from the mythical 'proven championship player', selling Brooks, owner bullshit. The start to the season looking so disjointed has made it a lot worse. I think it was reasonable to question wtf is going on :D

Look,
Its not my fault that United are shit.

But you do seem to be enjoying it though.

Have less of the personal abuse

I'll agree with you on that.

Any joy in pointing me to your 'many anti-Wednesday posts' that you've previously mentioned? It will get a bit tedious if i have to question your real allegiances again.

Who's said that?

I think it's reasonable to question what's going on, it's the blind panic some people seem to be working themselves into and the name-calling of players what's bothered me.

Every other thread was somebody saying calm down.

.......Some perspective;

It’s 2 games, FFS.
A manager who deserves better.
Transfer window still open.
Still newly promoted and without a sugar daddy.

(Though I stopped hoping for any perspective a long time ago, and just don’t use the place much these days)
