And would she. While it's up to them what they tweet, I wouldnt like it if my other half was tweating about my status in the workplace. I'd be telling her to stop immediately.

But as your "source within the club" wasn't it?

I'd have thought you'd prefer a happy medium?Take their phones off them and ask them to keep their opinions to themselves would be my suggestion.
If I have a shit day at work I don’t expect my Mrs to go on social media and bitch on my behalf.
Bobby Robson wrote in his autobiography that he had never forgotten a very good piece of advice from Arsenal's manager, Bertie Mee which was "if a player, no matter how good he is, becomes disruptive in the dressing room, then get rid of him as soon as you can".
I hope Sharp and Duffy will get dropped from the match day squad.
Mountain out of a molehill in terms of twitter usage.
When Chris was trying to get a pay-rise do you think that none of his friends or family posted anything on social media or internet forums about it? Or that there's no one on football forums he knows defending him or having a go at those who criticise him?
We're in a different world now. As long as they're not slagging Wilder off, then it's little more than an opinion about their other halves. If Wags still do stuff together, no doubt the same arguments, spats etc happen as they do with the players.
And bare in mind that male footballers, and those who go out with male footballers, are generally not the brightest.
For the sake of 10 months he should just fuck Sheffield United off as a bad job, I would in a heartbeat. It's the right time to move on to better things.
I posted this in the Sharp rumour thread but may not get seen or discussed in there so thought i'd give it a thread.
Both Mrs Sharp and Mrs Duffy have been on twitter bitching about them not playing. If I was Sharp and Duffy, i'd get them to rein it in, however, what it does suggest is a falling out maybe?
I am baffled as to why Sharp didn't get on the pitch last night and also why Duffy got so little game time over the 2 games. Something must have gone off.
Anyway, here are the tweets:
Jade Sharp having a dig:
64 is the amount of goals he's scored for us since he re-signed.
And Duffy's Mrs was at it Saturday:
And this was during last night's game:
SunderlandMy only conclusion is he see Duffy can cause more danger as an impact sub (pretty pointless when you're 3-0 down admittedly). Sharp baffles me a little but maybe Wilder feels he's reached his peak. (I did hear a whisper Sharp was off to Bradford)
mrs sharp and mrs duffy are fucking bang on
Billy should walk out of the door. He's got nothing to prove and doesn't owe anybody a damn thing.
I am not on twitter but I understand the tweets are still there which means both Sharp and Duffy has not asked their respective wife/girlfriend to remove the tweets. Player power is totally wrong and it must not happen at our club.
anyone can have an opinion if you don’t like it suck it upThe tweets are abusing the manager's authority and are causing a lot of damage to the club.
why not? why must they be gagged? The bottom line is the manager is in charge. It’s his job to pick the team and he is given authority to do so.
I don’t think it’s a huge issue per se, but it’s unprofessional for a wife / partner to tweet like that. You wouldn’t dream of doing it in most lines of work, let alone in such a high profile profession.
why not? why must they be gagged?
yeah i wouldn’t give a fuckIt’s not a case of “gagging”, it’s at best a daft move at worst a misjudgement. Would you let your Missus slag off your boss on social media? Nowt good will come of it.
yeah i wouldn’t give a fuck
i’m self employed
what if ‘your’ boss was taking the piss and your wife stuck up for ‘you’??
exactly.. you can’t really knock them for sticking up for their old manI’d have a word with her and sort it out myself.
Exactly what Sharp and Duffy should be doing.I’d have a word with her and sort it out myself.
Billy should walk out of the door. He's got nothing to prove and doesn't owe anybody a damn thing.

What's the chance that this even gets back to Wilder anyway. He's not on Twitter, I don't he has people combing the internet for this shit.
Probably just gets lost with all the other (correct) opinions that we were shocking.
He’ll know.
Good old Wit will have told him.
Good old Wit will have told him.
Can someone ask good old Wit what his bezzy mate has now got against Billy and Duffy? Shouldn't be too difficult to get an answer, he seems to have an opinion on most things, hashtag reflected glory.
A lot of his friends are big Blades.
Indeed not. I doubt my wife's work (NHS) would appreciate it and I know mine wouldn't.I don’t think it’s a huge issue per se, but it’s unprofessional for a wife / partner to tweet like that. You wouldn’t dream of doing it in most lines of work, let alone in such a high profile profession.
