That's awful ,I had a friend who died playing footy in Concord park at the same age ,about 30 years ago. Stilll bothers me now ,they named the cup competition in the Sheffield regional Sunday league after him.

That's too young.

I lost 2 mates when I was younger in the space of a couple of years. One in a car crash at about 21 and another to Leukaemia at ~23. You move on but you never forget them.

I lost a lifelong mate a few months ago to cancer at the age of 53 and I thought even that was far too young, but 23 !!!!
