They've got "PASHUN" though.Yes but we've got ambition
We couldn't cover his £45kpw wages!I’d rather we went for Joao (if available), would likely be similarly priced too overall - albeit slightly more wages but lower transfer fee?
Pulis will ruin him.Going to Middlesbrough according to twitter . So hoping we will get someone else in!

He's never been on £45kpw.
You do realise that every time someone quotes his wages, you HAVE to add 5k. So hes now on 50k pw.
Didn't realise this forum was full of Estate Agents!
I think Freeman was asked about in case Woodburn went to Villa, that's how I look at that one anyway.Listen, Wilder.
Forget Waghorn. Not value for munneh.
Do all you can to sign Luke Freeman permanently and Sam Gallagher on loan.
Then if you can't get Freeman, go for Adam Armstrong. If you can't get Gallagher, go for Joao, Hugill, Ulloa or Quaner.
Easeh.
Let me know how you get on.
I think it's all eggs in the striker basket now.
James shield has just tweeted that we are ramping up or efforts for Waghorn, whatever that means.
I think with Gallagher, we wanted a loan and the Saints wanted a sale.
People are mentioning Joao, what's the link? Is he available?

Got to be all about a striker now.
Freeman and Woodburn have both been long term targets I think, Freeman more prominently as he'd be permanent.
Now we've got Woodburn and his versatility, we've got flexibility with our remaining recruitment, we could sign...
1 striker
2 strikers
1 attacking midfielder and 1 striker (my ideal choice)
Freeman's a blatant long term Duffy replacement and I don't think Wilder would pass up the chance to reinvest the Brooks money in him just because he's got Woodburn on loan for a season. If he would then he's a fat muppet.
Nearly went 24hours without a post in here. Poor form that won't see us reach 100 pages.
So apparently Waghorn went to a costa earlier, which obviously means he's driving to a medical somewhere

Ah ,Brian the blade !I was talking with a local football manager a couple of months ago (won't see which one but wasn't CW) and he was telling us about how he signs players. He said he always meets them in a Costa and buys them a coffee. If they order a "normal" coffee they stand a chance, if they order "a fancy Latte with sprinkles and sparkles on top" then they are not for him and the conversation ends no matter how good a player he thinks he is!
Anything regarding Luke Freeman mate?We have increased the Waghorn bid but also now got 2 bids in for 2 other strikers.
Apparently we are pushing the boat out.

2 other strikers suggests he might not be confident in signing waghorn. We have increased the Waghorn bid but also now got 2 bids in for 2 other strikers.
