Possible Summer Targets

I'm not sure it will be Woodburn. Why would he be classed as a previous target? We've had no discouragement with him, he's just gone on tour with Liverpool.

Whereas with Gallagher, we had the because..... wages problem which could have been seen to have drawn a line under it.

I would be very surprised if it was anyone other than Woodburn. The rumours have been strong all pre-season

Mentioned yet again this morning:

Phil Foden or Ben Woodburn. I am sure there were kinks with Foden earlier in the summer and I saw a tweet a few weeks ago from Liverpool who that Woodburn is going on loan after coming back from the US

Foden was being eyed up by Leeds but apparently has said himself that he will be playing for City this season, also seem to recall Pep saying that he would feature. Would be a hell of coup though if we got him, Woodburn equally.

Guardioa aaid last week a decision on Foden would be made after pre/season. Not dead but only a little hope if Leeds come sniffing

Villa faves for Woodburn now assuming emarbgo is lifted shortly. Probably is Gallagher who Nixon was alluding to earlier on then.

Another one bites the dust?

Just can't seem to spend any of that £11.5m, but at least we tried ;)

Nixon saying Villa were only looking at Woodburn should Grealish be sold.

All he said about us by the way is that we'll "know on one Prem loan this week". So that probably will be Woodburn, because Liverpool are back from their US tour.

The Mirror are now reporting that we have made a move for QPR's Luke Freeman and they may cash in on him. Really want this one to happen, perfect competition for Duffy.

Blades make move for Freeman

Sheffield United have made a move for QPR midfielder Luke Freeman, writes Mirror Football’s James Nursey.

Freeman, 26, has two years left on his contract at Championship Rangers.

But QPR may cash in on the former Gillingham, Arsenal, Stevenage and Bristol City player.

He made 45 appearances last term in the League scoring five goals and getting 12 assists.

Ricky is gonna lose his shit here!

QPR fans seem to think he's going to West Brom. They also say he's worth £12-15m
