It's an absolute shocker of a shirt. Did anyone else think it made the players look fatter? Maybe it's just my eyes, or maybe they were all genuinely fatter after their holidays?

It’s our worst home shirt since the diamond one IMO. The fact you can’t see a single bit of red on the entire kit - our club’s prominent colour - from the back is hideous.

I think it comes as a bigger shock because of the glorious shirts of the past two seasons.

It's not as bad as the diamonds kit and it's not as bad as the Andy Pandy kit. As for the away kit, I will say that it looks nicer close up than it does in photos.

Only thing that makes it a United shirt is a badge on the front. it's horrific.

Away shirt will out sell it based on how many were around last night considering it had only just gone on sale.

I bought one yesterday. I’ve slagged them off a bit as well. It’s the worst one for years imo but just doesn’t feel right not buying a new shirt going into a new season.

The green sponsor looks naff and I’m not keen on the white back but the fit and the textured style material on the front is nice.

It’s not as bad in the flesh.

When the players were warming up it looked like two different kits depending on which way they were facing.

The good news is that we're almost certainly going to see a dump of sponsor-less stock onto classicfootballshirts near the end of the season as i'd be amazed if the success of the previous two seasons didn't play into the manufacturing forecasts.

I'm not sold on it but it's better than the first adidas home shirt - the "H" edition. The adidas logo in the middle with the Blades badge too far across? The dreadful sponsor logo? Just awful.

We should have a poll on here asking whether it's fit and proper that fans should have a say in the kit design for next season. (yes or no) The club have done this before on the club website and they should do it again, allowing ST holders, share holders and membership card holders to vote on a shortlist of designs, using their customer reference number as security access

Based on the result of the poll and I'm sure I know what that will be, foxy sends it to the club for a response

The supporters are expected to buy the damn things, then surely therefore they be entitled to have some input. It's also a way of engaging the supporters, the lifeblood of the club.
