Normally i prefer the shirts when i see them up close. This one, no chance, the fans fit seems really poor and to be quiet honest it looks a very cheap shirt compared to the quality we've had before from Adidas.

How have they managed to get it so badly wrong this season.

Can't say the away shirt does owt for me but fuck me the home shirt is an abortion, looks like a cheap white shirt with a few red stripes put on as an after thought. They will save our lass £95 this season.

I am getting used to the front - bold clean red - without pinstripe black, I even like the white sleeves and how the adidas stripes are black - the sponsorship isn't so bad when viewed on the pitch...

but the plain white back just kills it. If it was red striped on the back I'd probably have grown to love this kit (if I think what the team might achieve this season it could be a classic) - but it should have red stripes on the back.

As a side, adidas were claiming that this season striped shirts would have a plain back. No mention that traditionally plain shirts will have a striped back, so why are striped shirts being forced to go plain this season?

After seeing it in the flesh, the away one isn't too bad. I reckon I'll end up buying that one if they're knocking them out for £20 in a few months. Hell will freeze over before I buy the home shirt though.

stripes on back

Could have at least done them like Juve’s shirt

The only reason I would prefer a red back is to allow us to wear it in certain away fixtures. Know what you mean though.

It actually looks worse than I expected it to in person, the complete lack of red from one side is weird and could easily have been fixed with red numbers rather than looking like three teams are on the pitch. The sponsor doesn't look so bad on the players as they're further away so it just looks like a white box, but close up on the replica kits, it looks awful, an otherwise nice red and white striped front ruined with a manky cream splodge.

The away one annoys me equally. Day-glo shite has almost become a United trademark. We never go more than a couple of seasons without that garish crap. It's lazy and unimaginative and naturally our fans lap it up every time.
