Remember some tasty encounters against their team in the 1970's in old Sheffield Regional Sunday league.

As far as college's and rough pubs are concerned, difficult to argue against being at Richmond College and having a lunchtime gargle in the Springwood.

Was going to put the same ,they weren't a bad side ,we didn't have to many problems with them. I played for The Double Six then the Chantrey who were you ?

When me and our Gert were at Richmond College, we frequented the Richmond pub on the main road at lunchtimes - she still has occasional memory loss due to excessive Barley Wine, and the constant playing of “I am the Walrus” on the juke box

Ha ,we must know each other ,yes Spud ,Phil Cotterill ,Gary Smith ,the Wilsons ,great days great lads ,although I was the youngest by a few years.

Gary Smith and Steve Wilson was in my year at school Smithy great dead ball striker.
We used to meet in the Big Tree for years before heading of down town or wherever

Both were really close friends ,Garys dad coached us too with Tony Mac ,Steve went playing professional in Australia for Rockingham Utd for a while ,cant believe they will all be coming up to 60 now.

Our kid and me was talking today about the old Woodseats days we had a period where we knocked around in Escort Vans causing bollocks all over Cats Whiskers in Derbyshire, Mill at Mosborough or our headquarters in town Scamps mid - late 70s
