Pity. You could have posted metalblade disgust at only getting £2m for Harry shortly after saying he hoped we sold him because he was two slow for keague1.
Well done for trawling back to 2013 to find that comment your Dad must be really proud of ya. Pity you fail to mention how after asking for £2.5m in 2014 Kev actually rang Hull back grovelling to accept the £2m they offered. :D

It takes less than a minute.

Did he? No record on here of that. Not unless you claimed it. There is one of you being a total hypocrite though.

I have a child like sense of humour at times so expect to see it on occasion when you pontificate about transfer fees.

Sell him, too slow for league one. Ffs.

Ooh, we didn't get enough. Jesus.

Full of agenda driven shit. Serves you right.

No one having made themselves look a knob likes the search function. Funny that.

Harry was known to quite a few as "Leadboots" who only realised his talents when McCabe sold him.

Think he's a championship player but no more.
:D:D:D

What's actually funny about that is the first paragraph sums you up to a tee.

You said he wasn't good enough for L1 and when sold fapped yourself to death about how we sold him cheap. So you've actually provided a quote pointing out the hypocrisy of people like yourself.

I was wrong about his development yes, But l'm not using his success as a stick to beat the club with after being so wrong myself.

The difference being my quote was a full 15 months before we sold Maguire, a young player can and did improve a lot in 15 months. Your quote was after we sold him ( good this search function eh ) maybe you should try Google type in "Maguire U turn by Sheffield Utd" or something as you love quoting it is all in the public domain. btw having no pace is still Harry's weakness so we can agree on summat.

Blades and Bladettes, hopefully by now you've heard about my book on Chris Wilder's SUFC revolution, ingeniously titled 'He's one of our own' (I know, I had to really dig deep to come up with that one). The first thread was sidetracked a little and with kind permission from Foxy, there are a few updates to share with those few of you that will be interested :D

So... the book is now available to pre-order via its own dedicated website, as well as directly through me on here/Twitter/FB etc.

It's currently slated for release in early September - I'm still hopeful it might be a little earlier - and features contributions from, amongst others: Messrs Gage, Pack, Garrett, Wright, Duffy, Currie, Coutts, Stearman, Slater, Holmes, Knill, Brooks, Clarke and Wilder. Plus a few members of this very forum, and a whole heap of fan pics documenting the Wilder years thus far. And, yes, a Kryten-looking CW :D

Any queries please feel free to PM me, and thanks for reading this far :)

Looking forward to reading it.

We both got that wrong. However you use a player you said was "too slow" for L1 as a shining example of the club's shoddy transfer policy. My comment made no such claim. You used a player you didn't rate to do the usual clubbashing.

Now you say he developed since that comment. He's developed since mine. Surely that counts? Which negates your point somewhat, while mine remains constant and relevant.

Twist it any way you want ST if it makes you feel better ;) I don't suppose you found anything on the clubs "U" turn yet have you ?

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. ... And God called the light Tufty and the darkness he called McCabe* And the evening and the morning were the firstday.of the transfer window and court case"

That's how it opens. Looks good.

* or Prince Abdullah, depending on your agenda.

Have you hacked my copy? :)

I've just picked up an 'unofficial' chinese copy for £2 through Crab Imports Ltd. The photo of Wilder on the front is actually Bassett on this one and the title is 'He Wan of Own'. The text translation leaves a little to be desired but for 2 quid, c'mon......

The level of English is probably better though!

No the photo is Wilder, but due to a miscommunication in the fax that Nikki sent, it was Gene rather than Chris.
