Could be that we’re looking to loan Eastwood out, though I wouldn’t presume to know for sure. I’d tell you to ask Wilder why we’re looking at Steele but he’d only lie to you.

Why would a team pay more for an apparently injured player? I’m not so sure about Wilder’s poker abilities if that’s really what he’s hopping for.

If he can’t say, he won’t say. But he’s never tried to bullshit us. I don’t think it’s in his character to do that.

I think Moore will be off. I don’t blame him one iota tbh. And I won’t miss him. I suspect Wilder thinks he’ll go as well. But it’s legitimate with 3 weeks before the season is due to start, to look at cover if Moore is injured. Until a deal for Moore is done that’s the main reason.

Wilder is an inveterate liar. Fictitious bids for players we have no intention of buying. Claiming he won’t pay over the odds for players when in fact he’s a patsy whose strings are being pulled by evil directors. Pretending he’s got an enhanced budget.

There’s no smoke without fire, as they say.

And I don’t think he’s lying for lyings sake. He might be injured, his lack of involvement might well be nothing to do with a transfer. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t talks ongoing - players can still play even if subject to transfer talks.

I think he will go and all the best to him when he does. Without him we wouldn’t have made it to the championship.

If you look for the first instance on the Simon Moore thread I actually said possibly. I’ve never once said ‘he’s 100% off to West Brom, I was told by one of the players’

So if a player told you Sharp was off to Bradford would you just say who it was on a blades forum? Knowing it could come back and bite him on the arse?

And a snitch to boot - lovely. I’m not remotely bothered if it could be ‘traced back to me’ I’d rather not throw said bloke under the bus for saying something whilst under the influence.
