My Udders supporting pal reckons he’s a good player, they missed him due to injury towards the end of their promotion season, but as we all know, it didn’t matter!!

Asked a pal who also supports Hudds. Says pretty much the same thing except he reckons he may be an injury prone player who has trouble with his hamstrings.

Have Norwich got any links with Chelsea? Geographically it would be closer, but the Blackman factor could swing it for us - taking them both on season long loans would be an exceptional start to the summer.

It’s quicker to get to Sheffield than Norwich from West London. No motorways in Norfolk.

I often see Blackman and Alex Kiwomya (friends from Chelsea and Alex lives in Sheffield) together so it may make more sense that it was him however not disapproving your theory.

After his injury he didn't play very well therefore wasn't selected and I assume Chelsea got him out of there as quick as possible with the hopes he would play elsewhere.

English schools champion u15 200m, English 60m 100m and 200m champion at u15. Third fastest ever u15 200m runner and 8th fastest ever u15 100m runner.

Pbs of 10.98 secs 100m and 22.17 secs for 200m all at age 15...So yes very rapid...one of the quickest ever at a young age. Looks like when he got into the football academies he stopped competing in athletics events.

Apart from the Lampard factor, why on earth would he contemplate going back to Derby where he hardly played and his career and reputation went backwards?

That said, I saw the screenshot of said Instagram post and certainly didn't interpret it as him confirming he'll return, more a case of him not knowing where'll he'll go. I would imagine that Lampard will indeed be in for him, as well as Da Silva but if Chelsea look at it rationally, he's more likely to get game time and therefore develop at Utd. It may all come down to how much influence and a pull Lampard has and whether the decision makers at Chelsea prioritise doing an old boy a favour or aiding a player's development.

Duffy - Cracking on in age, can he play 46 games a season? Doubt it
Carruthers - gone
Brooks - seems to be preferred as a second striker rather than a midfielder
Fleck/Coutts/Evans/Lundstram - play deeper roles

None of our midfielders have pace, none get beyond the strikers regularly, none contribute enough goals.

Wilder seems to regard the CAM role as compmetely seperate to the CM role.

Duffy never plays the Fleck/Coutts role and vice versa: any new midfielder would likely be a deputy/replacement for Duffy.

How do you know he isn't... I'd imagine he has a couple of weeks(tops) to seriously impress or he'll be off for 100k to league 1 somewhere
