Whoevers taken over our marketing over the past few years is doing a sterling job in my opinion..

Im too old to be wearing a club shirt but when i show my lad the video when he gets in from school later on he will be asking every day to see the next snippet!

That’s not the club. Well it is, but it’s all to do with adidas that. It’s superb and it’ll be a sad day when that partnership ends.

On excitement for new kits: I’ve been reliving my youth again with the new strip being revealed since we’ve had adidas.

On the new home kit: Stripes look a nice width - wider than I’d been led to believe. I’ve been told it’s a white back though, which is looking like the only disappointment.

Only reason there is a teaser is because they film these when they shoot the kit.they don’t know the sponsor when they do it so they shoot the videos and photos withough sponsors and edit them in. The video is just a little something to get people talking. Like it has.

If only there was a small pile of those sponsor-less shirts available...I'd buy one in a flash (and yes, I know that's directly against the point of the sponsors)

Had a go at cleaning / clearing things it up a little:

How come they've used Dean Hammond to model the new kit anyway!!??

I hear you, they do exist. we picked up lads of the 2015 without the John Holland sponsor, looks 10x better. I respect sponsors and what they bring to clubs but its impossible not to prefer shirts with out sponsors.

Looks decent from that blurry reveal. Glad the stripes aren't as thin as first thought.

Based on blurry photos and adidas templates - it'll look like this.

Just the back to worry about really - if it looks like this I'm happy.

Don't like the white sleeves. It also appears that the 'block' for the adidas stripes is red.

That is too 'Brentford' for my taste. i.e. 'White with red stripes' rather than 'Red with White stripes'.

Yeah I see where you're coming from, it's not clear whether there are stripes on the sleeves or not though, if it has striped sleeves it'll look a bit like this I'd imagine.

If your really worried about the back may I suggest a waistcoat perhaps including watch pocket and tobacco pouch for those evenings at the gentleman's club reminiscing over your youth of fourty years ago

It looks like a blurry white bit to me rather than a blurry red bit haha

That would be a big improvement on your first effort

Better to be too white than too red.

Too much red looks tacky, too much white at least looks clean.

Reckon it will be exactly like Watford’s template, just red and white.

Our stripes are definitely thinner, we've got 5, they've got 3 and our badge and adidas are centred on stripes.

Back and sleeves might be the same though unfortunately, although EPL rules mean plain backs I think, Championship doesn't have that rule afaik.
