Very little black on it which is always disappointing. The neck looks different too and I can't tell if it's that's a good thing or not.

When I heard thin stripes in the rumours I was dreading it being Sunderland butchers stripes. We've dodged a bullet there.

I'll miss the black but the red stripe is in the middle and at least it's not totally grim by the looks of it.

Also last season's was like 97, this 86 both shirts Wilder would have worn while playing for us yeah? Hmmmm

The build up is just a spot of marketing. I don't see the harm in it.

No daft stripes as wide as Mexborough, no unnecessary black on the stripes, no red fucking piping.

To play in I'd want it red and white bold stripes, even to watch us in I'd want it as basic as possible, but to wear in the pub I personally think it needs black in to tone it down and keep it more casual.
