Yikes!

Logo too overpowering on the shirt for me

Ethical dilemma? Not quite Wonga but still bothers me. Not sure I want to be wearing that across my chest.

We could just go back to playing our VSports games and using our Topspring, erm...

Errrrr...

Shampoo?

Anyway...never forget.

VSoftCo (as VSports are now known) are at a lot of conferences I go to for work. At one this year, their stand was designed like the outside of Bramall Lane, you could get a pukka pie and a pint and all the promo girls had Blades shirts on. It's a McCabe company.

I don’t know why people whinge about the nature of the businesses who sponsor us. I couldn’t care less as long as they put decent money into the club. It’s what happens on the pitch that counts, not who is the shirt sponsor.

Just out of curiosity, who would be the “ideal/perfect” appease all sponsor? Because I doubt there is one.

If we're being technical about it, we're only being sponsored by the Bureau de Change wing.

But I suppose that's akin to being sponsored by McDonald's salads or a water brand owned by Coca-Cola.

I was about to post similar. Its about decent money and also a company with a wholesome, fluffy reputation with good ethics and principals.... actually fuck that, its about how good it looks.

I'd like Apple to sponsor our away shirt so that we could then create an away shirt with the apple logo central and the rest of the shirt like the Pacman game screen, in a variant of lime green of course to keep those people happy that clamber for the bright one we had in the 90's (Umbros best selling shirt in the S2 region - ever)

It’s either that or an online betting company these days :(

A mysterious benefactor who doesn't want anything on the shirt at all?

Failing that, my ideal sponsor would be a hitherto unknown local hairdresser who makes it big off the back of a sponsorship deal with the Blades, who goes by the name Matt Clay.

WELL

Summet called 'Ethisphere' (?) has a thing called 'World’s Most Ethical Companies' (?) and they do a new list every year. Of the 135 from this years' list, 3 are UK companies.

There's Aptiv (?), National Grid and...Marks & Spencer :D

The Aptiv logo would look best on a shirt, I believe. Get them red dots in white stripes and you're onto a winner.

Never heard of them. $17billion company but they're moving from Gillingham to Dublin. Why's that then?

:D:D:D

Because some people do care about endorsing companies that run buisness models that knowingly ruin peoples lives.

A sponsor that has to pay a 7 figure sum for the privilege rather than a 6 figure. If we want to compete at the top end of the championship we need sponsors to be injecting millions not thousands into the Club.

You'd be happy wearing a Wonga or 118-118 sponsored Blades shirt?

Arnold Laver or Wards Best Bitter
