Long time reader, first time poster so go easy on me

Just wanted an answer to 2 questions...

1.. When are we likely to start hearing about signings? I know it's not a question that can be answered accurately, but are players (or Wilder) still on holiday, hence the lack of transfers? Or are we just being slow with our business this summer?

2.. When do we expect to hear stuff abouy the new kit? Haven't bought a kit in years but if the last 2 have been anything to go by, then im sure it will be lovely.

Hello.

Contracts generally run until end of June I think. Plus players/managers will be on holiday as you say. They’ll be a few announced generally, but think the proper movement will start in a couple of weeks.

World Cup will probably have an impact as well- we all know the transfer market trickles fown from the top. Can see things moving a bit slower this year (not just us), especially as regards loans.

Kits? Think they try to get the home one out before people go on holiday dont they? Would expect to see a few “teasers” coming from the club later this month- maybe tie in with the fixtures coming out? Probably depends when Billy, JOC and Duffy, etc are back to model it.

Think Wilder has said in the press that the end of the world cup is when most movement will happen although I read that someone had been at BDTBL having talks but no idea who it is as I am NOT in the know !
Always look at the kit at startof the season to see if I like it but have bought a shirt for most seasons and my wardrobe is gettting quite full as my 50 plus years of buying will attest

Yeah, should have said 'slower' rather than 'slow', as in January we were rapid with our signings.
