Apparently, cough, the sign was being removed anyway........ so it's a non story. Or.

It would appear though that the bit fell off and the rest was taken down for safety reasons.

The bottom 3rd of it fell off (the club only found out when a member of the public phoned the club) & the rest was taken down as a precaution.

I’ve personally seen a couple of their fans claiming it was being taken down ‘anyway’.

I have a few things to say to that statement.

1 - who is taking it down?
2 - where’s the scaffold/cherry picker?
3 - no it wasn’t.

I may have to email the HSE again. It’s becoming an annual thing.
