Possible Summer Targets

Depending on how much money they have, I wouldn't be surprised to see Abraham being part of their first team squad. He's a goalscorer and that's what they're missing. He requires good service though and won't play upfront on his own.

Abraham’s went backwards a bit at Swansea. He needs a season being number one striker somewhere and I doubt there is a team in premier league who he could do that for including the teams going up.

Very good, dominant target man and a handful for defenders but is he technically good enough, will he score enough?

Long is probably an example of one to add to the list of possibles if we have a significantly increased budget. It seems likely we'd try to sign him.

Moore showed he can score. Rotherham created loads of chances for him and he returned with an excellent record. Barnsley just launched it to him and went head it.

By all means a risk but if we have some spare money I would him to be our target man.

Seems as though Sam Byram is to be made available for transfer. Would Wilder be interested? We have two decent right sided wing backs already but surely Byram is an upgrade on both.

Out of all the team, rb is the only place we don’t need to be spending money. Would just be a waste

Sam Bryam is not and has never been a left back. He's also never played against us as far as I'm aware.

Are you thinking of Joe Bryan, the Bristol Left Back?

Have you actually followed any of your own advice?

Edit: Has he even played against us?

Dominic Solanke - Rangers also linked with a move for him. If he's available on loan that would be another top quality signing. On very high wages though I'd imagine.

Solanke will have PL options for a loan move, the rangers rumour will be based on Gerrard's links.

Does anyone think shane long would be a good and gettable target

Good striker quick and strong be good in the championship. Always finds himself on the bench at Southampton but not sure if another prem team may fancy him
Decent shout that. Sure I have read before Wilder is a fan too but our budget last year wasn't enough to get him in on a loan deal.

Doubt we would be able to afford his £60kpw wages.

The Florian Kamberi link is a very interesting one. For the sort of price touted I hope we sign him. Seems well worth a punt.

I was just saying about the lack of obvious centre forward options, then we're linked with someone like this. Quite below the radar - where we need to be looking.

If we're interested in him then surely it should also encourage us to look abroad for other players.

I think it's only because he played in Scotland that were interested, if he had a good season in Switzerland we wouldn't be.

That's exactly where I'm coming from. It seems a bit silly doesn't it?

This is a player seemingly not wanted by his foreign club - yet a bit of exposure in Scotland and we're apparently interested. So how many foreign players who are wanted by their clubs would we be interested in?

If we can’t get Jamal back, Dean Henderson of Shrewsbury (loaned from Manchester United) is definitely worth a gamble on. In my opinion the best English goalkeeper outside of the prem. very good in the air and has a huge amount of confidence.

What's the price that they are saying?

The report yesterday said as little as 100k, but even 300k would seem like a good punt. Certainly doesn't seem he'd be expensive.

100k was the price between Hibs and Grasshopper personally think it will be something like 300/400k
