Not sure I've seen him mentioned but...

Andy Campbell. An alleged quick "striker" from Boro.

Trenton Wiggon
I have only just noticed this thread, and was enjoying it as it seems to confirm that it is not just my memory that is deteriorating, but that we have had so many forgettable players that everyone else has forgotten them as well. And then I saw 'Trenton Wiggon', and thought that I remembered him clear as a bell, and particularly the last game of the 78-79 season, where we needed to beat Leicester by something like 9 goals to avoid relegation. We went 2 up, I think, and Wiggon scored both goals in one of his few appearances. I went to check before putting this post up, and it turns out it was Ian Benjamin, in one of his rare appearances, who scored the goals.

Benjamin's debut, 4 more games (first 4 of the 1979-80 season) then he was sold to WBA for £180K

In watching the 2000/01 season review from the Whitehouse testimonial thread, noticed this guy in one of the games for the opposition. Had totally forgotten his v brief spell – he’d actually looked half-decent when I saw him for us...

Gary or Paul Casey? - played for us mostly as a sub I think between 1980-82
Gary West
Lee Walshaw
Paddy McGeeney
Tony Daws

I've completely erased from my memory that Terry Pig Curran played for us. It just doesn't feel right even thinking about it.

Racist!

Someone like Jon O’Connor?

I seem to recall quite a few wanted him in the team at the time, couldn’t understand why he hadn’t been tried, and then couldn’t understand why he had been left out afterwards and thought Bruce had it in for him – like the Dellas situation but minus the ability. I don’t think he played further after the bonkers Cup game at Meadow Lane (when we let in 3, the defence looked awful, and somehow turned it around to win late-on).

Big centre half on loan from Palace who didn't train with us. Big reputation. Utter garbage.
