Or, there's the opportunity to wish the new hope of a pretty gash monastic dynasty all the best, as he weds a tidy, seemingly switched-on and savvy piece of Yank skirt and thumbs his nose to the lurking racists who consider her heritage somewhat of a pollutant to a somewhat already diverse bloodline.

There's also the opportunity to turn our faces away briefly from the real problems in the world - Palestine, Trump, Israel, Syria, Putin, Brexit, Kim Jong Un, Climate Change and Diane fucking Abbott - and raise a glass just for the sake of it, before we all get poisoned, stabbed, shot or vaporised.

Will be one year to the day since I went to Hamburg, absolute animal of a place for anyone who hasn't been.

Celebrating various 40th bdays and a Blades promotion resulted in a first day of 22hrs of drinking.

Doubt I'll be doing the same this Saturday, maybe a couple of beers and some gardening.
