Lots of good goals mentioned already & was directly over Jag's shoulder when he hit that screamer. Knew it was in as soon as he hit it.
Brown v Pigs - tekkers.

Two others that stand out for me:-
Christian Nade v Arsenal - memory says he let it run through his legs as he turned the defender on the half-way line then calmly stuck it in the corner under Lehman.
Jon Stead v West Sham - controlled it on the touch-line in front of the South Stand, turned inside & bent into bottom corner in front of the Kop from about 30 yards.

Obviously quite a few obvious goals that been mentioned many times. but hard to single out 1. i mustve seen thousands of goals in last 20years

brown & duffy v wednesday 03/17.
Jags v leeds 03 & boro 06.
Peschsolido v forest 03
Sharp v leeds 17
Jean Calve v pne 10

But i want to give mentions to nade v arsenal. To outmuscle kolo toure is impressive in 1st place then curling it in bottom corner from 25yds. Brilliant goal. & Murphy v gillingham, 93rd min dribbles from halfway line passing 5 people & scored

But for an opposition player. Christian eriksen free kick in that 2nd leg was special. Cant think of another goal we conceded that ive applauded

Don't know if said elsewhere but best goal against us was Cantona in the cup. Chipped Kelly, was right behind it on the kop and the precision was sublime. Not many times have the kop clapped an opposition goal, plenty did that night.

It was scored in a howling hurricane in a 3 sided ground if my memory serves me correctly. Which makes it even better.

Waddle’s free kick in the semi was a decent goal. :(

Paul 'Ten Touches' Peschisolido v Nottingham Forest 2003. (At 11:11)

The amount of times i must have watched that video. Still the greatest game ive witnessed it had everything. As still remember that game as clear as bell even as a 12yr old.

Dean Saunders v Oxford ( I think ) . Took a throw against the keepers back and then rolled it in.
Beatties last minute free kick v the pigs
Bob Atkins last minute volley v Rotherham
Kevin arnotts last minute winner v Southend a week later
Just some alternatives

thanks mate i knew you’d know.. it was a belting shot.. by 2025 i’ll be saying .. ‘and he hit it from the half way line’ .. it gets a bit further out every year! :D
all that for a 1-1 draw but in the context of the game it felt like a victory
edit as for the date i just remember being 9 :D

I have seen some great goals from Blades but am Finding it hard to see past Evans' first against Boro. He was on the move, the ball was spinning and swerving. Neither foot was planted, an incredibly set f difficult skills rolled into one. If Ronaldo had scored that we would be seeing it every week. Maybe people put it down to luck as the one he tried in the second half ended up in Woodhead Tunnel.

Best one I’ve seen was Browns goal against the pigs. It had everything, it was spectacular, the execution and technique was spot on, he hit it like a thunderbolt, and the icing on the cake was who it came against.

The best ones against. Cantona scoring with a lob against Alan Kelly. I was right behind it on the kop, and saw how little space there was between Kelly’s hand and the crossbar, brilliance from a brilliant player. Eriksen’s free kick for Spurs in the cup semi was a moment of sheer brilliance as well.

....when the ball came to steve cammack, he was standing in the car park, facing the wrong way, without any shoes on, in fog with an artillery barrage going off all around him. He struck it so sweetly that there was a mini sonic boom as it left his boot, shattering nearby windows. Best goal i've ever seen. ;)

Surely the Des Walker goal in that game is the best ever. Full stop. :)

We could have had Long and Howard in goal that night and it would have gone in.

There was one replay which showed the angle at which the ball approached and went in and the closeness of it to the crossbar and post. There's only a few who can do that shit and get away with it. Erikson is a fucking maestro.

He's been my favourite prem player for ages now, lads got everything.
Who even tries the freekick he took against us to the far corner?

That's not how I saw it mate. It wasn' even Cammack. It was somebody else, in a different game, playing rugby. Great goal though. One of the best.

Reminds me of a time me and a mate ended up sat opposite a couple of Arsenal fans on the train. They were describing an Ian Wright goal to us that started out as a tap in and each one of them kept adding a bit till in the end it was comparable with Maradona's second against England. There was was a slight pause when they'd finished talking then one of them said "yeh, fackin jumped off the fackin stretcher he did then fackin knocked it in!"

Even though we've bemoaned our lack of shooting from range this season, there's still been some cracking goals.

Sharp's placed shot from about 25 yards v Derby
Fleck freekick v Pigs
Duffy v Pigs
Donaldson 2nd v Sunderland
Leon's flicked first v Hull
Coutts v Reading
Sharp's team goal v Reading
Donaldson lob v Villa
Duffy v Reading
Sharp's 1st v Leeds
Both Evans goals v Middlesbrough
Brooks v Millwall
Brooks v Burton

From past games I've witnessed in the flesh as it were ( and can remember)...
Wigley v Blackburn 1986
Eves v Leeds 1985
John Ryan v Rotherham 1981
Tony Kenworthy header v Peterboro 1982
Andy Kennedy v Blackburn? circa 1986
Alan Young v Oxford 1983
Glyn Hodges v Man Utd FA Cup 1993
Murphy v Gillingham 2015

Jags followed by Ndlovu was the best two minutes I've had in football. Never has a comeback like that been more deserved or unexpected.
We then followed it up with an FA Cup win against them too.

They got relegated that season and have never been back to the top level since and I give us all the credit for knocking them out of both cups in the same season.

Completely shattered their confidence.

Had a quick skim and can't see it mentioned (apologies if it has) .... Keith Edwards "Pele" goal versus Bristol Rovers (?) in front of The Kop.
Pele missed his, Keith didn't, and my memory* also tells me he saluted The Kop with the ball at his feet before slotting it in to an empty net.
* should anyone have a clearer recollection where this didn't happen please don't spoil it for me :D

There were a few good uns in the prem
Jags last minute 25 yarder
Keef volley from edge of box
Ckr banana shot from byline
Can't remember what teams they were against tho lol
