I saw your posts on their forum Fatty! I think that most sensible Mackems realise that we are similar sized and a few did say that. But on forums you often get the most passionate of fans and I'm not sure their forum represents their full support base.

I tried to have a conversation with them but gave up. All they could go on about was how massive a club they were compared to us. That and personal insults (some of which the mods removed)

Came across as right pricks apart from one or two and totally changed my opinion of them.

I suppose they can't really claim local superiority this season, so the future is their only hope. We do seem to be giving them some cause for optimism, given our own internal issues.

I see that "Mr" Chansiri has made an end of season statement painting a rosy picture and they're all swallowing his line that everything's hunky dory. Personally I prefer our healthy cynical view of things

Just read through that thread. Stunning levels of delusion from a club that finished 15th and even in November, before their unprecedented injury crisis, were 14th.
