I think this season has to go down as one of Wednesdays worst seasons? On and off the pitch they’ve been a disgrace to sheffield.

Not sure why they were so confident about what we were going to be like. They had barely seen us play. I didn't make any grand proclamations about them because I couldn't pick their team out of a line up.

I've seen them play twice this year and they are ok, not much more than that. Forestieri seems pretty good from the highlights I've seen.

Turns out football is about being solid, organised and consistent. Not about being deluded blowhards who support a team who vastly overspent in comparison to what their team produced.

They were right about one thing. Praise or Grumble has been quite entertaining, but not in the way that they thought it would.

edit - maybe two things right. We didn't finish in the same half of the table as them either!

I think it was their expectations not ours that were a bit unrealistic.

Anyway, not only did they finish below us in the league, but they also finished below us in the attendance league.

We have only been in the same division as them 5 times in the last 11 seasons. But in 4 of those 5 seasons we have had a higher average attendance than them.

What happens next season will to a large part depend upon the presence or otherwise of Tufty and Fessi.

Knowing our luck, we'll probably lose both of them.

I'm confident that FF will still be at the club, but whether he's on the pitch or sitting in the stand with his bottom lip out is another matter.
