My first Blades match was 27th November 1965 v Newcastle where we won 3-2 after being 2-1 down and i was hooked. We all know football is a passion and so we all feel passionate about United.

Managers come and go but we remain as honest and loyal supporters of our club.
God knows how many managers i have seen come and go, some very good , some average and some rubbish but i think most have given their best and that's all we ask.

If Chris feels it's time to go ( and whatever anyone says it's all speculation at the moment) then he goes with my best wishes after 2 great seasons.

Let's hope the next guy moves us on.

When Wilder took over he said about any players wanting to move “if they want to move, they can, we won’t keep anyone here who doesn’t want to be”. That’s how it should be across the whole of the club. Someone else will come in and we go again, it may turn out to be a good appointment, may turn out to be bad but nothing any of us can do about it.

We just move on

I wish we would, all this speculation is driving me mad what will be will be. UTB

Yeah let’s just hand Wilder over. No need to upset the board and owners just because they’ve fecked up big time again. Let’s face it, we’ve done it with every decent player we’ve ever had under the current ownership so why not let a team in the division below us nick our best manager maybe since Basset.

We’re Sheffield United. We should be grateful that we’ve had two seasons out of him.

Sadly this is the frustration right now. Until Sunderland are officially took over then this speculation will remain. When they're took over then we'll know how serious they are about wilder. I expect they will make an approach. I noticed that Derek French tweeted that he thought Wilder would want to go with the instability currently at United. Lets hope he is wrong but you'd have thought that he probably keeps in contact with Wilder.

I understand that and a good point, but we are all trying to second guess CW me I would rather wait for an announcement if there ever is going to be one, hopefully not. UTB
